  1. For those interested, attached is a diagram of the RRB on a 2004 Dynasty before converting to Blue Sea ML ACR. This helped in the conversion to the Blue Sea ML ACR. I removed the big boy, both solenoids(I disconnected the sales switch), both relays, and the intellitec board.
  2. All fixed new lines run to a different entry locstion to the parking brake switch under drivers left console Thanks for all the suggestions.
  3. Thanks. Yes I gave a electronic leak detector. As stated above it is a busted line to the parking brake switch. Impossible to get to coming thru the floor on the armrest. I am going to reroute the lines and cut as much if the old ones out that I can get to. Are the air lines just standard PEX that one can get at a big box store? Thanks
  4. Not going to be easy to get to. Need to remove air line(s) from parking switch, feed back thru the floor under the armrest. Lots of cables in the way and the lines go thru the floor directly over the front run box with little room to work with between the FRB and the floor. Going to see if I can get new lines thru the floor on the side of the run box. Be lots easier than trying to use existing location.
  5. Found the leak, one of the lines going to the parking brake is broken. Now to access and replace. Thanks
  6. 2004 Dynasty. Have a major air leak drivers side front. Appears to be from either the parking brake, or the air guage. I am guessing that area has connections for the guage, the air horn, the parking brake, and brake pedal. Compressor won't keep up and only gets to about 50 pounds. I connect my shop air lines to air up the system. Get pressure to 120 lbs. All bags stay inflated but I can hear a major leak in the left front area. It will lose all 120 lbs in a matter of minutes. Thinking broken line or fitting Going check connections in switch today as I can see small air bubbles after applying soapy water. Will have to cut a bunch if zip ties to find the lines that feed the guage. Hopefully I will not have to remove the dash.
  7. Stainless was left over from the Install on the sides. A friend's son did the waterjet. Used the old plastic as pattern.
  8. Did not weigh before adding stainless on both sides. Did before and after replacing manual trays and carpet and old tile. Carpet and tile no change. New trays a few pounds less since new new are aluminum. Furniture and cabinets was about equal. Weighed old and new pieces.
  9. Thought we would share various upgrades we have completed over the years Latest are Blue Sea Ml Acr, Power Watchdog, and a Thornwave Battery monitor. These are not shown in the attached document. It is a link to Google docs and anyone with the link should be able to read it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bdVvjH84Z5vykph6-tG9uk4T20nGXx3VIJZOJ-ZgI3o/edit?usp=drivesdk
  10. 2004 Dynasty Diamond 4. Lifted the mattress, removed protective cover to inspect the slide mechanism.. Motor working fine. Greased the 2 bearings on the slide base (Each has a zerk fitting). Tightened all screws that hold the frame to the floor. All were very loose. Never thought to inspect this before.

  12. Nothing from the bird connects to the ml acr Only the two large cables that were connected to the bottom of Big Boy get connected to the ml acr. You will probably gave to fabricate new copper bar connectors. I eliminated the Bird the 2 solenoids and the two relays. If you are going to use the remote switch you can make use of the cables that are connected to your existing boost switch. See my pictures above.
  13. Tanks but I dont plan on changing the good old wet cells.keep ours for 4 to 5 years with proper maintenance.
  14. Not sure what you mean. I am isolating the generator and engine so that the batteries don't charge from 2 different sources. The alternator and the inverter/charger. When the ml acr sees both sources it will isolate the 2 sets of batteries.
  15. Make sure to unplug from shore power and turn off all battery disconnects. You will probably need to remake the copper bar connectors. I bought a copper bar from McMaster Carr and fabricated them.
  16. Replaced the Big Boy with Blue Sea ML ACR. Also eliminated the sales switch. Battery boost now provided by the new ML ACR. Need to run the wires so that I can connect the Generator switch and the Ignition Switch to the remote ACR switch. This will provide engine Isolation so that the generator can run while the coach is running. Any reason not to completely remove the 2 solenoids and the intellitec circuit board that controlled the Big Boy and sales switch? Thanks in advance.
  17. Finally found the problem with the internal Jake. Three Cummins experts in Phoenix have looked at it unsuccessfully. One even gave us a $6500 estimate to rebuild the internal 2 stage Jake. The other 2 just threw up their hands and told us the Jake is working the way it is designed. I finally decided to spend some time cleaning the 2004 cummins isl 400. While doing so I discovered a wire buried under other parts that was not connected to anything. I found a connection in the side of valve cover that looked like it was the place to connect the wire to. Connected it then drove to and returned from Sunset Point on the way to Flagstaff from Phoenix. It has a 7 mile 5 and 6 percent downgrade. The jake worked perfectly holding the coach at 45 mph down the entire 7 miles. The connected wire now allows the solenoids to activate the jake allowing it to work the way it should. At 74 I should have known to dig into this myself earlier. So much for the $170 per hour experts.
  18. Any members here using the Thornwave battery monitor and external shunt? If so 1. Why do they indicate installing the shunt on the positive side of the battery bank rather than the negative? 2. Are you using the relay capability to control low voltage and over current disconnect? Cross posted on FB groups
  19. Issue has been corrected. Monaco had 2 wires reversed. Incoming purple was connected to the essex blue rather than the essex brown. Switched them around and all works as it should. A big thank you to Walter for the help.
  20. Thanks Walter. All 6 wires are connected in my harness but none of them to any of the three auxillary ports one wire in the harness is not connected at essex end. That is why I think I need to connect it to any of the 3 aux ports. I did that to no avail. Need to find the other end which I think should be connected to the unlock relay.
  21. My molex (essex) connector is 12 pin and as I said nothing is connected to any of the three auxillary ports. All three are empty
  22. Ther is no wire connected to any of the three auxillary ports
