I’m at 5 years on the current nozzle in my 600D as the electric provides the majority on my heat needs. I do run the diesel briefly every 2-3 months.

Take an oil sample at 150 hours and then decide if it needs changing. Granted it’s not enough cost to really worry about.
I’ve been oil sampling for 50+ years allowing 2X the hours over recommended change intervals. Below is my ISX results using non synthetic Rotella T oil. Both were taken before I changed and I went another 2K on the 12K sample…14,000. Current one at 10K I’ll probably go to 15K unless a long trip would make it easier to change sooner as I do my own.

Have put 315s on the front of 2 rigs without any ABS issues, the larger diameter isn’t your problem. I’m a little surprised they fit on a 40’ coach as it was a tight fit on our 42’ Dynasty and plenty of room on our 45’.

If the cover of the lights are fogged, spray them with WD-40 before driving at night. A light mist and rubbing for 15 seconds with a paper towel has amazing results and will last for several weeks.
Most LED bulbs do not focas the light as well as the original halogens because of the small size of the filament. Buy some similar to the 1st picture.
If replacing the entire unit, I would pass on the $80 ones and go for the $325 projection units. Being cheap I add a pair of LED spotlights that were a huge improvement.

Perimeter/ circumference of the valve breaks off. I’ve read that a $3 metal freezer plug will block the EGR where its tube bolts to the intake tube.

Having put a Denso on my ISX that would barely start with 3 batteries several years ago, definitely a great upgrade. Getting the bolt out behind the Delco was the hardest part because of the long extension needed to reach it. Yes, the positive cable had to be re-routed to reach the different location of the solenoid.

It’s in a he top of the valve cover if you have a 425 ISL… 400 doesn’t have one.

Based on all the clamps, it’s been replaced before…should make it easier to replace again. Use the electric unit you fabricate a new one.

Yes, you need lights that are adjustable in all 3 axis because of the curved front cap. Of the several different spotlights I tried on the front of my SUV, these are the only ones with 3 adjustments, the cheapest price and a really good “spot” light.

The lower to the ground the more likely you’ll bling oncoming traffic. By mounting as high as legal you get a better down angle. I was a little surprised I didn’t have to turn them off as no one in 8 hours flashed me, even in right hand turns or construction zones.

I still drive at night and sorry headlights seem to be the norm on Monacos. I installed led bulbs knowing they wouldn’t increase the sight distance… wanted to decrease the amps through the VIP smart wheel controller.
Experimented with 4 different led spotlights and the cheapest ones (EBay) were definitely the best plus they were the only ones adjustable in all 3 axis… needed for mounting on the curved front cap. Mounted them next to the mirror mounts at the max legal height of 55”.
Added the old style foot switch to turn them on/off. The increased sight distance. It was substantial when I tested them on the front of my SUV which has good HID headlights.After driving 8+ hours at night I’m very happy with how much better I can see. Took several tries at adjusting them but no one flashed me even in construction zones of only 2 lanes. 1st picture is the led spot lights I mounted., 3rd led spot lights on (taken shortly after lower picture), and 2nd is where I mounted them… high as legal so I could angle them down. 1st picture is current listing on EBay.

Guess you lucked out and never owned XRVs that actually blew out sitting still or more recently ones that has serious cracks at 4 years. Don’t get be wrong, I used nothing but Michelins for almost 40 years, but never again.

Basing your MPG on one or two fill ups means little and 12+ isn’t going to happen as an average over 5000 miles. By leaning my rig after the nozzle shuts off I can add another 25 gallons making my mpg even worse. A 03 34’ has the advantage of weighing a lot less than most of us so my educated guess is your average will be 9-10 mpg at 62 mph. Report back in a couple of years.

If you read what Monaco wants disconnected you’ll never weld on your rig. I did read and decided to bolt 2 more receivers on my 04 Dynasty 20 years ago. With more time and research I now stick weld by turning the batteries off and grind a good grounding spot next to where I’m welding.
