  1. If you have a laptop with an HDMI, this would be the quickest way to test the HDMI TV ports. I assume you would know how to "extend" you monitor setting on your laptop.
  2. Well, I tried the same thing in my MH to no avail. However, I found out later when I got back, you have to re-establish the network with every location you go to. If you use it at you house then move it to you MH, you have to redo the network settings, then if you move it back to the house, you must redo the network settings again. They are not smart devices. My suggestion and what I did was purchase a new cheap Firestick just for the MH. Then you only have to do it each time you connect at a different location. That's what worked for me.
  3. I am sorry to hear about this loss to the community and especially his family. I am new to the site so I don't know much about him, but his name "RV Doctor" indicates to me, he was a very important part of this group and will be sorely missed.
  4. Mine did the same thing. I found one lead under the water pump corroded and broke off. Couldn't see by just looking at the front. Pull each lead gently to see if they got a good connection and look for corrosion. I checked the voltage and it was getting to the pump. I removed the pump and went to the hardware store an replaced the lead inside the water pump. It was really easy and only cost me about an hour and $0.72. The pump is really easy to remove and take apart. Just take pictures or video it as you are taking it apart. If you have a corroded lead, worst case, you have to buy a new pump which you would have probably done anyway. Note, I'm assuming you checked all the breakers all of that is good and voltage is good to the pump.
  5. Thanks for the help. i know I am new and I guess i have some trust issues. I appreciate the explanation. The name I'm using is just my first and middle name. On another subject, I think my picture is too big. I downloaded a program to make my picture smaller if it needs to be. I'll do that shortly or tomorrow. I tried to find the lens I originally asked about and can't seem to pull them up. I'll try again tomorrow.
  6. Quick question. i use an alias name and don't use my real name, but in the profile it has my real name. Because Google is so easy to use, I really don't want my correct name and address out there because if I go on a trip and talk about it, crooks that monitor these kind of things can see I am out of town and break in potentially. How do I know my information is secure and not published to the world? Jim
