  7. MODERATOR's EDIT and NOTE. This original, newly created topic Title read: Correct coolant filter for ES Compleat Add Tag However, the question was about differential oil. Coincidentally, it also was posted earlier than the Differential topic, so it is the "First" post....There is an active topic on this with a wealth of information. This has been merged. It is a requirement for all posters to do some searching prior to creating a new topic. Thank for do such in the future. In addition, when a topic title is incorrect, the original poster has up to 2 hours to edit or correct the content. Past that, contact a moderator for editing and assistance. 12. Ivan, I'm not that knowledgeable about the ABS systems, what does the retarder circuit do in the ABS system? How did you go about tracing the broken wire? Thanks Dennis
  13. Andrew, Without sounding like smart aleck, Monaco's has the reputation of being "snowflakes" no 2 are alike even within the same year and model. Monaco was always "improving/upgrading components". Mine is not a port just a silver button. Have you looked in the front electrical bay?
  14. Gary, Bob and Jim, Thank you for your responses to my ABS question. This is my plan, determine which brand of ABS system I have then continue looking for code interpretations. Clean all the sensors and adjust the clearances. hopefully that will clear the ABS code.... we shall see' This will have wait till we return from an upcoming trip sans RV. I will report back. Again, thanks for the input. Dennis
  15. On my 2000 Dynasty there is a button located next to the diagnostics ports above the Pac brake floor switch. The procedure to retrieve ABS codes is; turn key on, depress brake pedal once, hold button for 3 seconds and release. The ABS light will start blinking count the blinks there will be delay in the blinking then resume that is the second code. Mine, 17 blinks then a delay and 1 more blink. "17-1" This was explained in my owners manual but no code interpretation. I have read on this and other forums the button can be located in the FRB and behind the instrument cluster, It depends on the year and maybe the model.

  18. My switch is located on the side of the sink cabinet.
  19. Does your coach have solar? If so, I would separate the wires from the charge controller to the battery cables or cover the solar panels with card board.
  20. If the fuel cap is threaded like mine it is probably non-vented. I found a locking cap at a local truck parts supply house.
  21. icondirect.com should have the covers. I ordered AC covers for my coach, they fit perfectly.
  22. Kurt, From memory, I replaced the valve myself about 4 years ago. Drained coolant down below the valve assembly and removed the assembly. Replaced valve "on the bench", reinstalled, all is good. Richard is correct, remove the oil filter first then shut off the valve when changing the filter. VERY IMPORTANT the valve only rotates in one direction to close, if you rotate it the wrong direction you will break the valve stem. ( don't ask how I discovered this) Unfortunately, I don't remember if it is clockwise or counter clockwise. I can't find my notes right now. I did this when I was 70+ years young so it is a DIY project I believe.
