  1. Good luck, They are up more than $100 from last year. I paid $443 each last August and now they are $569 from Tires-easy.com
  2. You'll have to check you inverter charger settings to see if the charge profile is compatible with lithium batteries. More than likely it is at that new of an age but never assume it is.
  3. Try here, I had Parkhouse install them in So Cal. Add another $100 or more for taxes. https://www.tires-easy.com/tires/toyo-tires/s/m-144?filtering=toyo,relevance
  4. Check your bay doors. One could be open or the switch could be broken or shorted. Slides won’t move if the doors are open.
  5. My coach doesn’t have a “Big Boy” but it does have a similar relay that connects the two battery banks. The only thing I have left to operate that relay is the booster button on the dash. I removed the old trickle charger and the BIRD. Mine looks way less complicated! LOL
  6. Here is the picture of my bay. Victron DC-DC and the AmpL Start.
  7. If I'm not mistaken the boost function has an input to the BIRD but is not dependent on it. So if you remove the BIRD like I did the wire continues on to the connection relay that joins the start and house batteries together.
  8. I agree Proflex is the best choice. I believe it’s silicone.
  9. EGTs are common on motors that have had a tuner or programmer that adds power. If the temps get to high you need to back off the throttle. Not sure if anybody runs one in a standard coach configuration.
  10. Try cycling the power at the battery disconnects for both the coach and chassis with the coach unplugged. This will reset the lock system, or at least it fixed my coach when it happened to us.
  11. I would try using an eraser on a pencil to rub on the RJ11 connector end to clean the contacts. If that doesn't work re-terminating the ends before trying to pull new cable.
  12. Most likely the sail switch is bad. Common problem. The fan blows air against it allowing the furnace to continue to run. If the switch fails it shuts the furnace off. Not hard to fix. I suggest a YouTube search on your model.
  13. Just above look at down loads. Click on that. then over to the right.
  14. Battery in your remote may be low. Sometimes that can cause it to turn the tv on before it dies.
  15. Mothers VLR works great but I don't like the smell. I prefer Surf City Garage Dash away but it's getting harder to find. The I use a leather conditioner, again I like the Surf City Garage Voodoo Blend. They also have a rejuvinator but its for dried out leather. I was thinking about getting some for my arms.
  16. Here is how I set up mine. I started by upgrading my inverter from the Zantrex RV2022 to the Freedom 3012 so I could have more charge profile options and a pure sine wave. Then I bought two battleborn batteries on sale to replace my 4 old 6 volt deep cycle lead acid batteries. With some good advice and research I replaced the trickle charger and bidirectional relay with a dc to dc charger and an Amp-L-Start. The dc to dc charger limits the load on the alternator to 30 amps while charging during driving. The Amp-L-Start charges the chassis battery from the house batteries. I the added two more battleborn batteries on sale for a total of 4-100 Amp hours. I also installed 2 355 watt residential solar panels and a Victron 100/50 solar controller. It’s always a work in progress.
  17. Don, https://www.amazon.com/Fridge-Fixer-Original/dp/B07YNCBRCP On Amazon. It's a little pricey for what it is.
  18. Here are the pictures of our refrigerator replacement. Our old Norcold 1200 was still working and we were able to sell it to help offset the cost of the replacement. Both the old and new went through the front door, I removed the copilot seat and door. I was lucky and my furnace was not under the fridge. I removed the fold down door and lowered the fridge floor. After the test fit I put stop blocks in front of the rear wheels to keep the fridge from rolling forward. I also turned the front leveling feet backwards so the didn't protrude outward and was still able to level the fridge in the opening. Then we screwed blocking to the frame to keep the fridge from tilting forward and jumping the wheel stops. It's a very solid install. The old bottom door was cut to fit and is now on top. Last installed was the Fridge fixer. I bought the fridge from Costco and took five weeks to deliver.
  19. Looks great Dr4Film! How much did that set you back? It's one of the many things on my list.
  20. If you replaced the RV2012 with the Freedom 3012 and SCP. The auto start was part of the RV2012, The Freedom 3012 and SCP require the addition of the AGS to be added to the Zanbus network for the auto start of the gen set. There are many wires in the AGS for many functions but you only need a couple the rest aren't needed. Once the AGS is networked all the programing is done in the SCP. The SCP menu will populate when it sees the AGS in the network, otherwise you can't see it. My AGS is behind my inverter under the transfer switch. I ran a new network cable up front to the SCP but they do sell adapters so you can use the original network wire.
  21. Ivan, I installed the Victron BMV-712 in the electrical bay next to my battery compartment. I made my own cable for the monitor and ran it to the cabinet where my inverter controls are. That was a chore. The Bluetooth comes from the monitor so no issue for me. If you opt for the model that has Bluetooth and no display it could be an issue to get signal to the pilot. I have a DC to DC smart charger and I rarely see the signal up front, My mppt solar controller sometimes has issues with the signal as well. As long as I know the SOC I'm good. I learned a lot when putting this stuff in. My system works great for me.
  22. We went through RIS / Blue Sky - RV Insurance. They are a broker that was recommended to me. They ended up quoting us a Safeco policy. We are not full timers but this policy was cheaper than USAA and Progressive. 23. Mike McHughs is correct, easy and you don’t have to adjust linkage.
  24. Try Technorv https://www.technorv.com/tst-tire-pressure-monitoring-systems/
  25. Make sure you have a good 12v power supply or your battery disconnect is on.
