  1. Tom I really appreciate your replying to my 2 questions. As soon as it quits snowing outside here I will crawl under the coach and trace the genny pos. cable or Ohm out the FRB cable. My AGMS has a recessed red test button I presume it will start the generator if pressed, the owner manual has no mention of how to test the AGS, it does have a green ready LED that is lighted on.
  2. I also have a 10Kw Onan with slow cranking issues, I have cleaned the large pos/neg cables on back of generator with no change. Where does the red (positive) cable end at? Mine is bundled in an enclosed loom, it it back at the Run box? Also my AGS is a 5 knob version, it that the newer version? I hope I am not too out of line jumping into this discussion, I have searched the forum prior and been unable to find anything on this issue.
  3. Home depot has 0000 steel wool in the paint dept, usually down on the bottom shelf of course.
  4. I also had an issue where my ignition switch would not shut down my engine, C-13 CAT though, not Cummins. I replaced ignition switch and start relay in front run box, and still not shutting down. Mine would shut off id I hit my emergency stop button on HWH 2000 series leveling pad, then get out and hit HWH reset button in outside front run box to get dash to shut down. Ended up being 2 diodes in the HWH main control box in my basement compartment, I sent it up to HWH to be rebuilt.
  5. On my 2006 Beaver Thunder 10 bag chassis I used the Conti-Tech As 8897 with the 3/4 entry hole, then on the reducer bushings I used part number 69857 brass reducer bushings to get down to the 1/4 size for the air line 90 degree fittings.
  6. I also unbolted my Sleep Comfort airbed from the floor and dis-assembled it in place in the coach. When I took the upholstered panels into several local upholstery shops I was quoted $1000 to $1200 for labor, I had to provide my own fabric, those shops fabric prices were $60 to $100 per yard! I found some quality upholstery fabric online for $49.00 yard with a very regal pattern in a Burgundy/gold colors. Shop had fast turn around of only 5 days, good fit and trimmed out superbly.
  7. James, I also have a 2005 Jeep GC with the 5.7 Hemi engine. Mine is a early build so I do not have the MDS lifters or solenoids. I know from some of the Jeep forums that several vendors sell cam kits that delete the MDS system and it problems. Hopefully you lifter has not turned 90 degrees and ground off the lifter lobe, that fills your oil system with a large amount of metal fillings. Also check to see if you have a remote oil cooler, it will need to be replaced, cannot be flushed out entirely. Good Luck, hope it is a minor case of shellac builup.
  8. Viair does have a quiet series model, it is lass than half as loud as the regular series models, I can only hear mine if I sit outside near the rear tires, has a very quiet humming sound and has an external line with foam filter on the inlet side that can be tucked up into chassis to also cut down noise.
  9. Hi there, happy to see that these Atwood window holes are now replaceable, I would like 12 black right (passenger) and 6 left (driver) black units if possible. let me know how to get you the funds $28.00; correct?
