  1. I will try to get pics of front set up tomorrow if not raining. Rear will be a little harder and maybe longer, Thanks for the help
  2. I don't believe I ever said it was by the rear drive axle. I did state the airline looks like it goes into frame and goes to bank air tank. Always have know it was in the front behind the axle. Sorry if I stated that. And yes it is a power gear valid system which I also thought I stated somewhere. No manual came with coach on that unfortunately No a line plastic line coming off the compressor and then run up to by main air tank with a filter. I am thinking it was put there to keep it out of the moisture from road and junk. I have a check valve on the output of the compressor before it goes into a tee. So there is also an internal check valve also?
  3. My compressor is mounted behind the front axle
  4. It is a Valid system and pump So when you say hold the outer ring you mean keep it from being pushed in? So you are holding it out or do you hold that outer ring in while you pull the line out? Haven't really worked with these types of fittings only compression fittings. Thanks for the info guys.
  5. Got another question. I went under to tighten fittings on the t coming off the compressor and the 2 lines that come out can't be tightened. They look like they are push in fittings. They are plastic lines. Is that normal? If so how to you loosen or tighten them? And also the tee swivels also. No way to tighten it also.
  6. Oh 1 more note. My front tanks hold pressure and only my rear looses a little over days
  7. Thanks Frank for the report. Very good. My compressor has the check valve coming out of the head of the compressor. None on the tanks. I am going to replace it. What is also different on mine is the off of the tee on the compressor after the check valve , one side goes to the pressure switch, which I will probably switch out also and the other side does not go to my front tanks. It goes into the frame and looks like it goes back to my rear tanks. Still have to investigate that. It is strange how mine seems to leak air when it gets cold. Maybe something is shrinking and then leaking. Also the Valid Company tech suggested that my compressor might just be wearing out because I think it is the original and he said that if moisture gets into it through the air filter it will wear out. That will be my last resort. Not easy to get to. LOL. Thanks to everyone for all the good info and diagrams
  8. In my Monaco Sig 07, all my Kenwood stuff is under the dash on passenger side accessible from on top of dash. There is an access panel that comes off with 2 screws 0FA04F03-F68A-4347-8B63-A332DB2C077E.heic
  9. For my Monaco Sig I have a full length slide on driver side and it says to check level when it is all the way in. My front hydraulic system for other 2 slides and generator slide out is also the same instructions
  10. That is the way mine is plumbed. It was closer last night and lost air quicker for some reason. I must have a faulty check valve is what I am thinking any ideas why leveling system looses air when we have colder nights? Not below freezing but mid to high 30s
  11. OK update on my system. I went under and traced everything and here is what I got in the front. 1 big main air tank that has 2 small air lines that feed the 2 ping tanks( 1 on each side) FYI no drains on ping tanks. Out of the ping tank, which is set horizontal, I have 2 big air lines, 1 on each end ,that go to the air bags and a small air line that goes to the control valves. Out of the aux compressor I have 1 line that goes to air filter. Out of the tee , 1 small line goes to pressure switch and 1 small line goes up and backwards into the channel of frame and can't find where it is going. Maybe to the rear? Can't tell.Doesnt go anywhere up front that I can see. So I am confused totally. Nothing has been changed since we bought the coach and everything worked fine until about 6 mom ago and now pump comes on and runs a very long time. Comes on a lot, more when it is cold. Possibly aux compressor is wearing out? Still doesn't explain why I comes on so much now. Turned the leveling system off and waiting to see if compressor comes on. Any suggestions?
  12. Yes that is where ours is located behind the axle on driver side Do you mean the ping tanks(leveling Tanks)?
  13. Parked leveling system, my travel mode and manual mode is all the same system. Talking with Valid they said it comes off the compressor head to a tee with then goes to front tank and to there pressure switch. I turned off my compressor(pulled fuse) and main air tanks still level the coach if needed without the compressor. Looks like issue is check valve at the compressor head. Haven't found any leaks so far on the 2 lines. I will double check but don't think a line goes to the manifold. The pressure switch is set for 90lbs on and 120lbs off. It is not adjustable The tech also told me to check and make sure someone didn't put a check valve at the tank on the line coming from the compressor other wise that would cause the compressor to come on more often
  14. So have another question. Does the back air tank feed the leveling system or only the front air tank? My back air tank has a slow leak somewhere but my air bags are not loosing their level so I assume it is only the front tank that feeds the leveling system. FYI I talked directly with Valid and they have excellent customer service. A guy named Cris. Between everyone on here and Cris we have resolved our compressor issue and another issue with control pad. Thanks
  15. Where is the check valve and ping tank located? I turned off my auto leveling system so it was off all night and coach level did not settle or change so the bags aren't leaking but the compressor came on this morning.
  16. Thanks Thanks Yea I drain tanks regularly and no moisture coming out Thanks. Talked to tech at Valid and he gave me a lot of info also. Thanks everyone for the info. I think compressor is just going bad
  17. Any idea where on the compressor it is located? Also the sound of the compressor changes from maybe working easier to working harder. Soft sound to louder.
  18. Have an 07 sig and a valid air leveling system. When the aux air compressor turns on, it runs a very long time before shutting off. Any ideas as to why?
  19. I also have one and love it.Researched before I got one and this was my choice. Have a 45' Sig and tow a 2000 Toyota Tundra behind it and have no issues with signal. Have had it 6 yrs and only replaced 3 batteries so far. Hand carry makes it nice when I go outside and air up my tires
  20. When you say cinched tight do you mean the air bladder that goes around the door to seal it when you drive? If so that should only engage when engine started and you release the air brake. It shouldn't inflate when you turn the disconnect off. I have a sig and that's how it works on ours. Its an 07
  21. IMG_3445.HEICIMG_3445.HEIC This is my controller. Its different than yours. If compressor never comes on and coach settles probably compressor issue. Some are easy to get to and others are not
  22. I always try to leave one window unlatched for this reason so I can crawl in. I can actually reach the door handle from the window by passenger seat if I get my shoulders through it. Just had to do it recently and had my daughter crawl in. lol. Our outside handle broke so mechanism wouldn't work. My mechanic also showed me I could drill a hole along side off the broken handle and put a screwdriver through it and activate the mechanism. Since the handle needed to be replaced which was the whole mechanism it wouldn't have mattered if I had to do that. Then once opened take door apart and find the issue.
  23. I have 07 sig and a Power Gear Valid air level system. If the power button is not on and the auto is not pushed, the system will not self correct while parked. We have the aux compressor 12 v and it comes on from time to time to keep air tank charged and coached level. Hope that helps
