  1. Thank you Tom I appreciate your input and value it .My conclusion was the same as yours and you confirmed it and I was looking for some one with EE background or similar. Thank you once again.
  2. Been talking to a company called. EMP Shield about devices they have for EMP( Solar Flares and attacks) Different than the siege protectors I have( Surge Guard and the one in the coach) They have them for your vehicles as well. But my understanding is a major EMP will go into circuit boards , devices like cell phones , vehicles etc, even if not connected to the grid. This company also sells them for homes and make some interesting claims. Just trying to get a better understanding and decided if it is real and worth it. I know faraday cages are the main way or like I have faraday bags for some of my electrical devices . Thanks for input
  3. How do you do a level check with keypad? I have 07 sig. I have never found a dip stick for checking the level and I think I have looked everywhere
  4. Thank you Tom that pretty much answered everything . Only question left is has anyone but a lightning protection or EMP protection devices in their rigs?
  5. 3 questions.First one is : the power control system in the back control closet, is it only 12v or does it have some 110 in there?Just like bay on outside driver side is all 12V? Second question: Has anyone ever put in a lightning/EMP protection on your coach? Third question: All 110/220 goes through the electrical panel up front that has all the breakers ? The 50 amp breaker is just like in a house where it is the source of incoming power and is disconnect also correct? Also the generator runs through that same breaker when the switcher changes to generator mode?
  6. My buddies both have 38 ft 5th wheels and pull with 1 ton PU and go that way all the time. They live in Chico and Redding. Check weather this time of year for snow but shouldn't be an issue yet Other option from Stockton is go over Altamont Pass into east bay then up 101. Traffic issues that way depending upon the day of the week and probably slower and longer
  7. I live in the area. It's got a couple of steep up and down grades. Road work currently will cause some delays. Weekends are better. Couple of areas were curvy but not bad. Better than 199 for sure. Depending upon where you are coming from and going to, 101 could be better answer. Also if going further north there are better options. Depends on your destination and where coming from. Have friends that travel it all the time
  8. The biggest issue was the space on the swing arm on the back to get in between. Tag axle. Had to take off bracket that holds ups exhaust pipe for aqua hot and that gave a couple of inches and that was all he needed to get in. Super tight squeeze then have to look back up along the frame to where the hose was. Tight 90 degree turn on the body Crawled between the fender well and tire and blocked so coach couldn't come down on his legs or body and we had that side raised all the way up with the air bags
  9. When I had a leak I tested all may tanks first to make sure nothing was leaking there. Next when I figured it was 1 set of air bags, the back passenger side. I made sure solenoid was working and I could hear it click. Next I put it in manual mode and had my wife hit the raise for that set of bags and I could hear a loud air rushing sound. Figured it was a broken line which it was. Had to get a diesel mech out to crawl under, the rear end is a pain< and he found it with my help. Hardest part was getting into it. One of the lines had rubbed and over time a small hole had happened and then finally broke. My coach use to settle over time slowly then faster. This solved my issue Re-routed the line and but a rub pad on it. FYI we blocked up between the 2 frames for safety
  10. When I had issues with batteries charging and also weak turning over of the generator or engine what solved my issue was to got to the iso relay in engine compartment and take off and apart and clean all the parts inside because they had build up on them. Easy to do. Since then no issues at all. tookme awhile to figure out this was the issue. Though I had a bad iso relay so replaced with new one Now I have 2 Lol. Just my thoughts and experience
  11. Sorry some how copied and posted I agree they have been great every time I talk to them. So I figured out the issue. So the line from six pack manifold to air bag is either not connected or has a big hole. When I hit manual raise for back passenger side bags you can hear a large rush of air coming out. Now I just have to figure out how to get under there and in there safely to fix the issue. Worse case scenario I get a mobile truck mech to come out and use jacks to lift and fix. Safer than me going under but still Contemplating it. Might be able to lift opposite side and block it. We will see.
  12. I am going to today This is what I found https://manualzz.com/doc/6293806/valid-manual-air-leveling-installation-and-service-manual
  13. Thanks Tom appreciate the info. Hopefully I will get some else to reply that has been hands on
  14. Tom, Yea the back passenger side air bags are not filling with air even though I hear the solenoid clicking when using manual mode Where are the solenoids for the back air bags? Are they hard to access?
  15. Got 2 questions concerning my air bag system . 07 sig with valid system, only air bags. When in auto the coach levels and stops but it is slightly tilting backwards. Is there an adjustment that can be done and how. 2 nd question is my back passenger side air bags are not inflating when tryin to do it manually or travel mode. It just happened out of the blue. I can hear the solenoid clicking when I hit button but nothing happening. Have to move the coach about 200 yards in a month, question is will it hurt anything if I can't get the bag side to raise to move it that far? The bags are all the way down on that side
  16. There are some older Dynasty coaches that are 40". actually 41.5 with tags. Tags are great we have an 07 Sig 45' with tag. we love it. 600 hp cummins
  17. That is what they told me.Ordered 1 plus a new wiring harness Molex connector. Same as what they did on valid compressor. Just a new number
  18. $490 plus shipping. they said they had plenty Also found a company that does repairs on them. Company called Radwell They were out of them but can repair
  19. Thanks. I was looking for other sources because I was told they had none by a repair tech but contacted them today and found out they had many. They have been discontinued but have them in stock. Problem solved
  20. Looking for info on where to find one of these for 07 Monaco sig
  21. I have a wire that broke on the clip on connector. What is the best way to fix? Can the broken off part be removed and how or do I need to get a whole new connector and but new crimps on the wires Here is a pic
  22. Coburg OR is not far away and REV factory is there. Maybe more expensive though but I had good work done there for insurance reasons.
  23. In the pic where your thumb is on the iso relay, sometimes if that is corroded inside it won't crank over. At least that was my problem one time. I took it apart and cleaned it up and had no problems after. Also the ngen would hardly kick over but after I cleaned it up, it cranked fine. That was my experience in my Monaco Sig
  24. I usually level my coach then put slides out then relevel again to make sure.I don't have hydraulic jacks only air bags
