  1. Not sure what could have caused the holes but I have had my roof covered by RV roof FlexArmor. It is a bit pricy but is guaranteed for life and the warranty is transferable. I didnt have roof issues and didnt want them later on so bit the bullet and had it done. 2006 Monaco LaPalma 34PDD.
  2. Craig, Just read this so sorry if its irrelevant now. The guy who owned my coach before me installed a 12 volt dc to 110 ac convertor behind the front TV and plugged the TV into this. Pretty simple and quick fix.
  3. Thanks Tom, This is a very good explanation of the system and how it is wired up. I do believe they did this to prevent overload when boondocking Id say. I can take what you have sent here and get it back to normal. I would only use the AC when traveling if needed and the water heater would not be on electric. Thanks for the wiring diagram as well.
  4. Hi all, I had solar installed on my coach a couple of years back now and when they connected the generator it is only connected to one leg of my 50 amp circuit and as luck would have it, the front AC is not on this circuit. Two questions, is this generator large enough to run the coach and second question is why do you think they only connected it to one leg and not both. I never really questioned them about the why? Thanks for any help or advice you can offer. Rodney
  5. Hi Roy, I didn't have the cracking and didn't want any problems with my roof so I had RV Flex Armor installed on it. A bit pricy but it has a life time guarantee and looks really good.
  6. Hi Dave, Yeah pretty sure it is 6 gauge, that is what it says on the cable. They are big for an electronic gadget but maybe an inverter was here? I have the surround sound amp and the CD player mounted in the opposite cabinet and looks like this is how it came from the factory. What was missing was a receiver for the old Winegard that was mounted on the roof but I dont think the cabling would have been this big for this, but it was 2006 so not sure if they used this size cable. I appreciate the input from you all.
  7. Hi, I have a 2006 Monaco LaPalma 34PDD and am trying to figure out what electrical component was installed in the passenger side storage compartment above the dash. It has 2 6.0 sized electrical cables, one red and one white. They run along the inside of the wall so I am assuming they were factory? Any ideas?
