  1. I guess things may have changed in the past 9-10 years. In April of this year I spoke to M&M about replacing a bad CCM in my coach. I was told they had one but the price was $18,000!!! Seriously. I found a new one at REVGroup for $1,200. The list of other less than ethical business practices are lengthy although I won't elaborate here. They may know what they are doing, problem is you don't know what they are doing.
  2. I would suggest you read the Kongsburg thread. Contact Frank McElroy on this site. He is a MUCH better source to help with your issue. I cannot recommend the "Candy Shop"
  3. No the 09 Sig does not have removable fenders. I think the only way to get to the 1 1/8" air fitting is to cut the fiber wall from inside the bay. There is simply no way to get a wrench on the fitting and apply any force at all. To loosen the fitting on the front bag I had to hold a 2x4 against the wrench while a helper hit it about 10 times with a 20# sledge hammer. It must have taken more than 200 ft# to break it loose. Once loose it spun off with ease.
  4. Does anyone have a secret on how to access the DS front/rear bag on a '09 Sig. I was able to R/R the PS front/front with some unusual dexterity, but I can barely get my hand on the DS fitting let alone get a wrench on it. Am thinking of cutting access from the front bay to get to the air spring but I really hate to do that.
  5. THE PHOENIX HAS RISEN! I feel like I am making a baby announcement, but I am excited to announce that Brett's (and now my) Signature has been given another chance at life. Thanks to Franks hard work, extensive expertise, tenacity and generosity the Kongsburg system has been brought back to life again. EVERYTHING works as it should. I told Frank I would have been happy just to get the headlights working again but frankly I never expected to have the entire system back in operational condition without writing huge checks to the Candy Shop. I cannot thank Frank and all the other Monacoers who kindly gave their support in achieving this lofty goal. Thank you to all. The best result is not that my Phoenix (her new name) is made whole again it is that the lessons learned in this undertaking will benefit many more owners by continuing to enjoy their significant investment and undoubtably from its enhanced resale value. Thank you all again! JIm
  6. Huge kudos to Frank for his tenacity to achieve something nobody else has been willing to undertake or been able to do so. He has take a system some have called a very expensive anchor to living again. All the while expecting nothing in return.
  7. Thanks Mike, that is a great guide. Just what I was looking for.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion. Two years ago I had a mechanic replace the transmission in my old Winnebago. He raised the rear wheels off the ground without blocking the front wheels. The coach drifted forward and fell off the lift. He was under the coach and it fell onto him crushing him. He was in ICU for weeks and is just now getting back to work. Probably why I am so reluctant to go under.
  9. Set the switch to manual. Turned off the engine with the coach at drive height. Checked an hour later and the PS was completely deflated. DS was still inflated, about an 6" difference in lift. Previously tried to raise the tag's but they do not lift. Guess I will have to manually raise the suspension to max, crawl under and work really fast.
  10. Yes it is when parked in Travel mode. The compressor can keep ahead of the leak in Travel mode but when parked with the engine off it leaks down. I haven't tried to switch to auto or manual when I park it. I will try that and see if it makes a difference. Great suggestion!
  11. The Monroney sticker for my '09 Signature indicates it has a TIRE PRESSURE/TEMP MONITOR SYS at a cost of $3,124. However I don't see any documentation or system components that would indicate that the coach has a TPMS. Does anyone know who may have supplied this system or have any documentation on it?
  12. '09 Signature PS air suspension leaks down in about 30 minutes. Extreme list. DS seems OK but coach is on the ground in less than 24 hours. Any suggestion on where to start looking for a leak that would drain all DS air bags simultaneously? Can't hear anything leaking.. Am reluctant to crawl under the PS side with such a large leak. Did that once, won't do it again.
  13. OK, on my way to the bank. The coach batteries above the chassis batteries have a BTS in place. The chassis battery does not currently have one in place. Do you think this one goes to the chassis battery?
  14. Thanks, but don't think so. The battery temp sensor is in place between the batteries.
