  1. Yes, it's the same model. I'll have to download the manual for future reference. Thanks
  2. FWIW I don't know why, but our 12.5KW Onan in our 06 Executive seems quieter inside and outside than our 10 KW was in our '13 Allegro Bus. The inside level is probably due to coach construction. Not sure with the outside noise level.
  3. That's what I thought. It just didn't make sense to me to shut down both systems with either sensor. I'll pass it on to him. Thanks to all.
  4. Just got it running today. It was the high temp sensor, however when he tried to swap the electric and diesel sensors a wire broke off and had to order another one. As it turned out, his book showed the sensors were wired in series, so swapping wasn't an option anyway. That seems odd, but it works great now with a new filter and nozzle. It also doesn't have such a strong diesel smell like before.
  5. It turned out to be the Hi temp sensor according to the tech. He has ordered one which should be here in time for a trip to Quartzite. If not, he will switch the wires with the other electric one for the time being. Guess I'll know in a couple days. Thanks amphi_sc for the suggestion.
  6. Does it test all of the components of the AH unit so no guessing as to what needs replacement?
  7. Thank you. I sent your comment on to the tech. The place he called is closed for today, but will follow up in the morning.
  8. Update: The tech confirmed there is spark but no fuel. When he jumped the controller SG 1553/12V, there was fuel at the nozzle. He's checking with his source to confirm the controller is bad. It's a Holiday today, so might not know till tomorrow. I located a replacement online if needed. $429 plus shipping. We just might get it running so we can go to Quartzite on Sunday to learn more about this Monaco.
  9. Thanks Tom. I checked for the boot Ben referred to. It's already been removed. Looking up into the opening, I see two plates. One covers half of the opening and another one covers 3/4 of the rest. That seems restrictive, but maybe it opens when running.
  10. Thanks Tom. I'm not sure how informed the tech is, however, I will ask him to do a complete servicing of the system before unusual parts get installed. While it was running before, it had a stronger "diesel" smell than our previous coach which leads me to suspect basic servicing might be all that's needed.
  11. I don't think it's a fuel issue as I've only driven 70 miles since fill-up. Hopefully a reboot mentioned above will solve the problem. Edit: I unplugged the coach and turned the 12 volt disconnect switch for the coach off for 10 minutes. When I turned it back on, the low voltage light and low temp lights came on. The inside panel AH switch also responded turning the burner blower on however, it did not light. Tomorrow, I'll do a complete positive cable disconnect for 15-20 minutes and see what happens. Hopefully it will be the flame sensor or possibly just servicing the AH will bring it back to life.
  12. I have a service tech coming Monday morning. The system was supposed to be serviced before we picked it up, but will have that checked. Tomorrow, I will also do as vito suggested and see what happens. I had thought about do it anyway just to see if the system would reboot itself. If everything works, I'll still have the burner serviced just to be certain all is well. Thanks to both of you.
  13. I do not have the manual, but will download it. I was confused with the number of panel lights that were on when everything was off. I found the manual. While checking some more, All the lights that were on before are off except for the Low Tank Level which is green and not Red. The tank level is ok. Also, the diesel burner switch in the kitchen will not light up when pushed. All fuses that I have found are good.
  14. The AH has been working great since I bought the coach two months ago. It had been off for a few weeks. Started it last night and it would not fire up. The AH light at the interior panel comes on for a short time and goes out. Trouble shooting today, I found the 10 and 15 amp fuses in the front left lower panel good. When checking the status panel, the Heating Status, #2 pump, Diesel Burner and Low Temp cutoff lights are lit up even when the system is shut off at the thermostats. I pushed the reset and it clicked, but no change. After more attempts, I checked the reset and it was not tripped. The burner blower runs as it should then it turns off after a short time . With both master switches turned off, the electronic control board still has power and the above lights remain on. This is my first issue with an AH system so I'm mostly in the dark. any Ideas??
  15. Thanks for the help from Tom and others. Now, I feel like I could open up a "Let's find your Brake Controller Harness" shop.
  16. Thanks Tom. I will send you a pic of my plug. It differs from the one pictured in your reply. The Blue and White are heavier than the yellow/black and black wires. The yellow/black has power when the key is on and the black has power when the brake is pressed. The Blue goes to the hitch and the white goes to ground. Does this setup match anything you have seen before, or am I just special. 🙂
  17. I had read that and wondered if that was the case. I was just out there and confirmed the white goes to ground. To mate up to the controller, I can use the Blue, white ground and the brake wire. I think I can eliminate the ignition wire. Then run a 12 ga wire through a 30 amp breaker to 12 volt source. That gets the Prodigy controller hooked up per it's wiring schematic. The controller would always be on in standby. That might not be what Monaco had in mind, but I didn't expect a 4-wire plug where a six w/5 wires should have been.
  18. More info after looking at the plug. As I said, the key gets power to one of the small wires and touching the brake lights up the other middle wire. The outer Blue wire is bigger as is the outer white wire. I confirmed the white goes to ground. After I find a jumper wire to connect the trailer plug wire at the hitch to ground, I can confirm a Blue circuit to the back. My concern is that both middle wires with power from the key and brake are smaller. There is no RED hot fused wire in the mix. My Prodigy 2 controller has the heavy Blue and Black wires. I'm glad to have found the plug, but uncertain how to proceed without the fused HOT wire.
  19. When we were 72' and my son was 76', we traveled from WI to ID, AZ, NM, TX, MO and IL. When we went into CA, I bought a $13 permit good for 7 days. The rest of the group didn't bother. We were never questioned. I was told the LEO would not bother with an RV. That would probably change if the length was somehow the cause of an incident of some kind.
  20. I think I have found it. Is has 4 wires to a flat connector with the number 66 on it. I checked with the key on and one pin was hot. When I touched the brake, a second pin had 12 volts. There are only 4 wires, Blue, white, yellow/black, and black, instead of 5, but my controller only has 4 wires. It was right where it was supposed to be left of the steering column, but I was searching for a six pin connector. If I'm correct, the drinks are on me. 🙂 Edit: It seems to be the 4 wire plug that was used on the gas models of 2006 or 2007.
  21. That's the very one I was looking at. Might be able to find a similar one here in Havasu. If not, Amazon already makes daily deliveries to our home, so what's one more?? 🙂 Edit: While exposing all the wires under the dash and the side console, still nor connector. Apart from that, there are three coax cables coiled up that probably lead to the three cell phone antennas on the roof. They are each approximately 25' long with PL 259 connectors. What would they have plugged into that would have required such length? They've never been used and I won't either and will possibly cut them off rather than try to stuff them back behind the lower left panel. Anyone know what Monaco had in mind for them?

  23. First, I have to find a signal generator. Have never used one, but guess I'll learn.
  24. I might have to try a tracer. I've never used one. Can I attach it to the brake pin of the connector at the hitch and read a signal at the dash? I found three coax cables rolled up and stuffed behind the lower left side panel. They are labeled Driver side antenna, Middle antenna and passenger side antenna. On the roof there are three short antennae's, left center and right. The manual says they are cell phone antennas. What would all three cables hook to? They have the PL 259 connectors.
  25. I have the panel off of the driver side console along with the side panel in front of that along with the vent hose that attaches to it. I found a six hole plug with five wires, None of the pins have power to them, plus two of the wires end 8" away as a two wire connector to plug into something else. The unused hole is in a different spot that the pic I have of the one needed. I have had my head almost behind the dash. An unbelievable number of wires and connectors, but no brake connector. I'm going to walk away from it for a day or so and try again later.
