Gary Magin
Does anyone know of a GPS app for an Android or an Apple that would take into consideration weight and height of an RV in the routing program
bklaes
I have used Smart RV Route for several years. https://www.smartrvroute.com/smartrvhome/ Not free, but not too expensive.
fredelkamp
I use RV Life combined with RV TripWizard https://rvlife.com When my Garmin 780 RV GPS dies I won't replace it, I'll just use RV Life.
Scotty Hutto
I used CoPilot RV for a while. It’s not a great app, but it does what you ask above. I became disenchanted after I paid a “one-time fee” for the upgraded version, and less than a year later they revamped the app and wanted me to pay a second time. I just deleted the CoPilot app and use both a Garmin 780RV (RV specific routing) and Waze (traffic, hazards). YMMV...
Nosmo179
I use Sygic RV. It does a great job allowing you to input your rig's sizes and weight. I especially like the images of the yellow warning signs for tight turns. I think it's worth the price.
rpasetto
I'm still using a rather ancient version of DeLorme StreetAtlas which shares the laptop screen with VmsPC. Our backup has been Waze with Google-Maps on the other phone. Plan to become more familiar with the Nav system on the radio but that' probably based on ancient map data like the DeLorme.
