ktloah
Hello campers, while traveling home we lost our low beam side of the headlights. Marker lights flashed and they went out. Could not find any fuse, relay in the left front compartment. Checked the engine bay too. 04 Dynasty...400 isl...any suggestions?
Ivylog
Welcome to the burnt plug on the smart wheel controller in the front run box. I bypassed the 2 burnt wires with a 2 conductor plug (like the 4 type used for trailer lights). Soldered it into the board that was burnt up. timaz996
If you have an access panel on top of your dash look at the back of your light switch and make sure it's not melted.

milly59
i have exact same problem but cannot find a solution, my intermittent wipers stopped working...my flashers do not work...my hazards do not work...is it the controller box under the dash that is the culprit? Ktloah did you find the problem?
Ivylog
If your Dip was made by Navastar the controller should be on the left wall of the front run box. Try cleaning the plug at the bottom of the steering column.
ktloah
Michel, I did find the problem with no low beams...it was the J12 plug on the smart wheel controller. Ran new wires to a separate relay, and it works just fine. There are multiple replies on how to....good luck! 04 Dynasty
