How do I send 'Private eMail" to Another Monacoer?

Under Yahoo I could send a private email with the click of a tab. How do I do this in our current system?

Click on the persons name then choose message.

Another way is to click on the little white envelope in the upper right of the screen and click on “create new message”.  Start typing either their name or their “handle” and it should pop up.
