Wow, another frame problem. 

I posted about a crack I found when I was doing my maintenance/inspection.  Not nearly as bad but I caught it early, I've seen much worse.  It pays to take the time to look.  In my case a ~1 hour repair, I spent 45 minutes prepping and it took my neighbor 15 minutes to weld.

This only applies up to the 2004 and earlier frames. The Ambassador went on the Endeaver platform in 2005.

Gary is correct. 2005 was a major upgrade tear for the Ambassador/Knight. It went to the RR8R chassis as well as numerous other upgrades. The 2004 and 2005 Ambassador/Knight's are totally different animals.

Is this a Neptune / Cayman issue possibility?  That's a terrible situation to be in and I'd like to avoid it!
