Corgidad
My front cap for my generator is starting to loosen up again, it's where the 3 bolts go into the fiberglass frame on the cap. This fiberglass frame is very thin. I have repaired this again by moving the steel frame work and installing new screws but I know in time they will also become loose. Just wondering if anyone else has done a different type repair that may be more permanent. Thanks anyone with any information. Mike
vito.a
On a previous coach I mixed up JB Weld and pushed it into the holes with toothpicks. Let it set up for a few hours, then reinsert the screws. The next day do another set of screws.
Bill C
I got a piece of aluminum, fiber glassed it over the old holes, and mounted the Gen front cap using the aluminum to screw the self tapping screws in to it.
