  1. Just say I’ll need new front rotors and a disk brake job (not just pads), pins and all. What’s a ballpark cost today for that? 2003 Monaco Dynasty… & no, I don’t know what brand or manufacturer the parts are. Manual just says “Eaton Corp”.
  2. I’d like to see the type of ramps you all are using. That’s still my hurdle preventing more work than I handle. Jack stands limit what I can get to. I wish I was 110 and could skate front to back….. let’s just say THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN.😂😂. I’m thinking I need a minimum of 6” ramps. I’d rather buy air jacks and place the blocks vs driving on ramps but that’s probably cost prohibitive. thanks for sharing
  3. Thanks everyone for replying and sharing info! It’s what makes this site a pleasure to visit and read! god bless..
  4. Good day, 2003 Monaco Dynasty. anyone know the mfg of the axle assembly? The axle end cap is starting to leak and will need a new gasket. Are these undercarriage stamped by mfg? thanks & good day, mhrookie
  5. All, Wondering about upgrading our MSW trace 2012 to a new Xantrex PSW 2012. I’m being told it’s basically a plug & play swap and I can still use my RG7 control. Anyone had this done? Thanks, Kurt 2003 Monaco Dynasty 42’
  6. The service manual explains troubleshooting the pumps very well. If you tap the valve and it don't work, take cover off and check wiring on both sides of the second relay (three are stacked). I found wiring loose and that fixed it. Good luck
  7. The wiring all goes to the brain box in the dash. The keypad is just another key fob just mounted on the coach. If you depress the lock function on your keychain & nothing happens, it’s not related to the number pad… it’s the control box in dash
  8. My module in 2003 dynasty was behind the middle dash piece where my radio is mounted. There is a thread on IRV2 about the swap with a viper unit that explains the wiring.
  9. Thanks for the info… I now have a starting point.
  10. 2003 Monaco Dynasty 94,000 mi. Looking for info on where to get steering wheel slip ring or clock spring. Not exactly sure which one I have yet. I encountered a smartwheel horn, wiper glitch and will need to do update some parts. I know where to get a new control board looking for the other parts of the system? thanks, Kurt
  11. I have the stuff… Book says drain coolant…. I’d like to avoid that. Asking if any has swapped it out without draining & how much coolant was lost.
  12. Van, Unfortunately that won’t fit a 2002 ISL 400. option 1 replace option 2 go to OAT. Don’t have a clue in that cost
  13. Thanks for the feedback…. BUT…. it’s on a 2002 ISL 400. First… what is AFAIK? Second, my short side #8 knob is the one that is cracked. I guess I’m looking for insight as to….Is the coolant going to come gushing out like a gutted deer OR does anyone know if it is manageable to replace the short side parts only while bolted on engine. This is bolted towards the bottom of engine so it will drain like 6 or so gallons? Thanks!
  14. Anyone had to replace or refresh the valves or no-rings on the coolant filter head? My short side valve knob got cracked and needs replaced. Wondering if it can be replaced while bolted on engine or if draining and total removal is required. Thanks,
  15. All, Thanks for the input… findings… MFG’s black iron pieces then a female 1.75” pipe adapter. 1.75” exhaust pipe bent as needed and it fits over adapter. Wrapped in heat wrap w/ new tip. Had to use a cut off wheel to get broken piece off the adapter. Besides that it all went smooth.
  16. All, Had to to a temp repair on the road (almost lost exhaust pipe). Question... how is the exhaust connected to the "black pipe fittings"? I was not able to crawl under the coach at the time so that's why I'm asking. I'd like to buy the pieces before preparing coach to get underneath it... From what I can see... 2003 Monaco Dynasty / Pipe is a rather long 90* run wrapped in heat shield / I can see the black pipe elbow exit the floor of coach but could not see how it's all attached. The hanger stayed in tact at edge of coach. Definately agree with others'... Monaco could have done better here.
  17. All, My research came up with… CAT code 151 is for a loaded up DPF unit and needs a regen cycle. Hopefully DPF isn’t so bad that it needs replaced. code 102 aays low intake manifold pressure. Please inform us what they find as the issue. All the best, mhrookie
  18. Cousin Eddie, slide is all the way in at top locks are functioning slides are hydraulic but yes coach has full air.
  19. Anyone, 2003 Dynasty 42’ princess. Living room slide won’t fully retract on bottom. Lacks 3/4” front & back. Is the adjustment the rods along the tubes below the slide OR… does anyone recommend anyone close to Arkansas (Northern area)? thanks, Kurt
  20. Vanwill52 or jacwjames, With this upgrade… it’s not going to change the charging functions of the Xantrex RG7 invertor/charger will it? There is no concern of boiling batteries is there? Just making sure since it “connects itself” when a charge source is present. You’ve both left your solar panel hooked up as factory also? i’ve already bought the unit, just waiting to get home and prepare for install. thanks, Mhrookie
  21. Anyone paint their Girard awning plastic cover? Mines experiencing UV deterioration and paint is peeling. thanks, Kurt
  22. Steven P, That’s part 2 of my issue… No Aladdin coach (thankfully) BUT Trip Tek system gets same signal as gauge and it always says full. Oh well, new parts coming will fix me up. Thanks, Kurt
  23. I don’t boondock enough to justify lithium. Looking for AGM so compartment stays cleaner vs the lead acid maintenance. I’d have to modify my compartment to add any batteries. Then a larger inverter/charger is required. I don’t boondock enough to need the inverter update either…. I just want to make sure I don’t install something that will overload and cause a fire or meltdown). Sticking with stock sometimes is simpler I guess.
