  1. Taillights you show in last message are what I used on our 2000 Monaco Diplomat. Tried to send that info to you earlier and never saw it posted. Anyway here is photo of my rig with those installed. Pat
  2. Warren, found three suppliers of 1973 - 1991 Chevy Blazer taillights with the white reverse light area on Amazon a close look at various images on item sites showed DOT numbers. Here is first one I saw https://www.amazon.com/1973-1991-Chevrolet-Passenger-GM2800122-GM2801122/dp/B07K2V4GG4/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1QP0IJ4YKMS1J&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.E2rpKAQGBTOTotyWA7lF-ypXe8vhxoO0UHtp3tbHgLZQm7n6LAS0Q3kQiRBf6xzZzrdvvl2Kfv-qXG4ZVzlxZOTCR3T8mfQyJB58HwCQppouzacJzz0XDyuV6SShPffERDA5iIyO_R1rtzZ9xGnOvT3smdz6ZnpSBSEwtZHlcaDtZTz-zUsMVSGZHbh5Sw6wDYT0nRbZm8HSsWo1dMMnYzwonz3KKw_UWnEwWSu0ddfwcDRM4i0N-xuaJs-OVOXH5L0yoLrT5TIgx-aMBpIjf_hibYhNRr51WtovwhppdHM.S33qXMc2Uen5z_fVzBZorCc0lSjLq6gWf_qvAdCTKPU&dib_tag=se&keywords=chevy%2Bblazer%2Btail%2Blights&qid=1711007962&sprefix=Chevy%2Bblazer%2Bt%2Caps%2C216&sr=8-3&th=1 Pat
  3. Warren, My source was this listing on Amazon https://a.co/d/0MzYNxV. Here is image from the listing showning DOT and SAE info. Also in the listing copy it says " DOT (Department of Transportation) & SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Approved" Your decision if this satisfies the legal requirements. My coach is stored indoors and so therefore I cannot comment on UV properties. One comment on reviews it was mentioned by reviewer that they had seen same fixtures listed in a truck catalog at $129.00. Pat
  4. Warren, I installed the taillights you are considering about 4 years ago. At the suggestion of friend I inverted the lens as shown in photo. No issues with LEO's in CA, OR, or AZ. Pat Taillights.pdf
  5. Friends 2002 Sig is losing air near front axle. Attached are 2 pictures from the coach. Looking for help to identify location of air leak. Looks to me like air hose, but not sure. Thank you, Pat Coleman 2000 Diplomat
  6. Happy New Year, I have driven our 2000 Monaco Diplomat 36' for 12 years. Our coach was built by Holiday Rambler in IN. Several years ago I switched from Michelin 2.55/70/22.5 to Hankook 2.75/70/22.5 in 2019. I have always run lower pressure in front. I run 105 front and 110 rear. Tried 110 in front once and durn sold the coach road so harsh. I feel the Hankook's have given us a better ride and control. Did have coach weighed at each corner believe the 105/110 pressures are right. Several years ago realizing the original Monroe shocks were gone I replace al eight with Koni's. Due to what we felt as a harsh ride about a year later I removed Koni's on front and bought new Monroe's which improved ride a great deal. Only problem I again need to replace the Monroe's and think Monroe has stopped making them.. Somebody asked about the short wheelbase. Believe it rides firmer because of short wheelbase. But getting in out of tight spaces is quite easy.
  7. Looks good. Be interested to hear how you like going the road. Pat
  8. Any faults that occur in ECM are monitored by BlueFire and are shown on the dash if they should occur. You can read the complete app story by going to https://www.bluefire-llc.com/store/getting-started-document and downloading the Getting Started document. Attached image is Faults page of app. I have not had a fault since using Blue-Fire so do not have any to show you. Please remember Blue-Fire is being used by truckers, fire departments, heavy equipment and yachts. Hope this helps. Pat C 2000 Monaco Diplomat 2014 Honda CRV
  9. I have been using BlueFire for about 3 years. Made change as BlueFire enabled me to use iPad for Dash. Using existing dash mount screws and nylon spacers I mounted an acrylic plate on dash. Found a set of plastic clips for iPad on Amazon that I glued to acrylic plate. iPad slides into those clips. Yes, it covered up several gauges, but all those are shown on my basic dash layout. Coach is 2000 Diplomat driven off 6 pin J1708 adapter. I had sufficient cabling on Deutsch plug that I could bring adapter to within 16" of my iPad location. While not clearly shown in my photos when steering wheel is tilted to comfortable driving position I cannot readily view tach or speedometer. Main item I cannot view are turn signal indicators, but I can hear the flasher loud and clear. Since my adapter is older 6 pin on early electronic controlled Cummins I do not get all the data that others may put on their dash. And I like having GPS map on iPad screen so do not try to put all the gauges that other might include. Prefer text gauges for speed and tach. In summary, I prefer the BlueFire system over Silverleaf because it works on any Apple product. And support from BlueFire has been better than prior Silverleaf experience. 10. Hi Paul, What design and slicer software are you using to get 2 colors? Parts look very professional. Pat
  11. Have owned 2 printer. A Creality CR10S V2 Pro. Requires a lot of maintenance and Tech Support is non-existent from Crealtiy. Other draw back it has an 8 bit motherboard that has a number of limitations. Upgraded hot bed to the coasted glass from Creality. Also have an AnyCubic Vyper. Very low maintenance, comes with PEI metal flex hot bed for ease of model removal. Tech Support is also poor, but forum seems pretty good. Also had for about 2 weeks a MatterHacker Ulta Xl the MatterControl software drove me nuts. Have used TechBear, Amazon Basic and Hatchbox filament all PLA 1.75mm. Just started using Hatchbox PETG Filament. I followed nozzle and hot bed temps on spool label and general have had good results with all filament. Pricing of Creality about $600.00, AnyCubic $350.00 and Matter Hacker was $1,700. Have a reservation for Prusa XL probably delivering in 4th quarter this year. 1 Color version is $2000, but features are incredible. Can be upgrade to 5 colors for another $1,500. Wish I'd acquired Prusa i3 to start with. Use Shapr3d design software from Hungary. Runs on iPad and MacBooks and I believe soon to be on Windows. $240 per year subscription. There is a free version with reduced features and limited to 2 designs active. Tech Support is great. Very good tutorials on their website also on YouTube. YouTube is go to for me for help. Many good presenters on many brands of printers. Use Cura Slicer now on 4.13.1 version. It is free, very quick and well supported on YouTube. Will use Prusa Slicer when get the XL The item I have designed and printed for coach is an insert for drink holders that adapts the holders to support today's coffee mugs and water bottles. Also found on Thingiverse a gear for curtain chain control. Will upload to Scotty's STL site later this week. Pat C 2000 Monaco Diplomat 2014 Honda CRV
  12. Gearbox for wardrobe slide disassembled in a little over an hour. Thanks to Bob Schmeck for photos and info regarding his experience dismantling the task was very easy. Also thank to this YouTube Video showing use of a Palm Nailer to remove split and/or rolled pins in 4 locations. https://youtu.be/ULat0604dSc Now waiting for two bevel gears to replaced those damage. Believe that gears were damaged as the 4 bolts securing the drive motor to gearbox were slightly loose and allowed motor bevel to pull away and miss the cross shaft bevel gear. Bolt looseness was not noticed until we started to loosen those bolts to back up the motor bevel to clear cross shaft bevel. Big Thank You to Bob
  13. Are we talking about same post. Mark III to me is a Lincoln and 100-4 is an early Austin Healey to me. Pat
  14. Everything helps. Just had post back from 3D design pro who suggested McMaster Carr as a gear source. Thanks for comments. Pat
  15. Our 2000 Monaco DIplomat 36DS rear slide gear box is failing. Lippert tells me parts are no longer available. Coach was built at HR Indiana plant. Have searched Monacoers for information. None found. Have located Power Gear Manual and it does not discuss or show the 90 degree gear box. Attached is a video showing the two bevel gears not messing on each rotation in either direction. Has anyone removed this gearbox from mounting. I am thinking of doing so and seeing how to best replace gears. I have found a number of sizes of 1:1 bevel gears on Amazon. Gearbox sits inside bed box and is located in close proximity to FG engine cover on one side and plywood bed box on other. Can probably remove cross shaft by removing end board of bed box or using hole saw to cut large enough access hole in end board. Pat C 2000 Monaco DIplomat 36 DS 757940349_FastPowerGear.mov
  16. I am available all day. Private email me your phone # and I'll give you a call. patcoleman@astound.net. Pat
  17. Well that news is one more reason we don't use navigation system on our 2014 CRV. The weakest navigation system I have seen in the cars I've owned. We use Apple Maps with iPhone mounted on a clip on dash. If you have an iPhone and haven't used Apple Maps in a couple of years take a look at that app. No I don't own Apple stock and have never worked for them. Just try to recognize good apps that are not Google, Maga or Twitter based.
  18. Bob, The increase of forward light is very significant and much more comfortable to drive at dusk. Have yet to have oncoming traffic flash their headlights at me because they are bothered by our headlights. Also changed tail/turn/brake lights to aftermarket shells and Led bulbs. Taken awhile to resolve grounding issues, but has really made a difference in lights to rear of vehicle Pat C
  19. Since I installed a side light by door that turns on automatically with motion my Wife has started calling our coach Motel 6. It leaves a light on for us. Our almost 22 year old coach just loves to run and provide a on the road home for us. Love the Diplomats. And yes I do know it was made in Indiana by HR.
  20. Bob, Here is picture of LED headlights acquired on Amazon and replaced as new shell and LED bulb a couple of years ago. A former Monaco employee took about 1 hour to remove old and install new. Did so with battery powered screwdriver. Started on passenger size and removed a self tapping screw on outside and another screw he found towards right side of old shell. Passenger side was very quick. Driver side was more awkward as Monaco had somehow run the screws in same direction so he had to work in tighter quarters. That side took probably 35-40 minutes. He did all of the work while standing. He never opened the generator door. I had printed out the web instruction to remove FG behind the headlight working from on the ground. He ignored those and tackled the job straight away as described above. As rig is stored indoors about 9-10 months of year I did not coat any protection on lens. 21. John, Instead of chasing all the sensor, etc. You might consider BlueFire Adapter and software. https://bluefire-llc.com/store No I am not an agent or rep for this product that I have used for last 3 years in our 2000 Diplomat. BlueFire works through the ECM and gives you more accurate information than the many sensors Monaco installed on the engine. Be happy to communicate with you or anyone else about my experience. Having an older engine I do not get the data available to you with your 2005 engine. Your Fellow Romer Pat C
  22. Our 2000 Monaco DIPLOMAT 36DS has a Bedroom slide the contains cabinetry of closets and drawers. The queen size bed runs fore and aft. Under the bed is a plywood box between engine cover and bed frame or support. The top of box is nailed in to box sides about every 4 inches. No visible means of lifting lid short of prying cover off. Have also tried to lift box without success. When open the rack gear shows no damage or teeth missing. So I am assuming pinion is damaged or has debris that is causing the sound. Sound occurs about every 6 inches of rack travel. Cabinet set on a piece that slides in and and out. Picture of step that slide rests on and box under bed attached. Removing the bottom drawers I only see more carpet. So believe pinion and slide motor are in plywood box under the bed. Has anyone experience with this or similar issue on older coach? IMG_5551 is step and IMG_5553 is plywood box in side bed frame. Pat C
  23. Bill Here is Rodgers White https://www.supplyhouse.com/White-Rodgers-120-105851-Solenoid-w-Normally-Open-Continuous-Contact-Rating-100-Amps-12-VDC-Grounded-Coil. I'd call https://www.supplyhouse.com/White-Rodgers at 888-757-4774 and inquire about difference. The above link and Amazon site both parts as listed. Good idea to swap now. Pat
  24. On our 2000 Monaco Diplomat the relay is located in passenger side rear compartment. It is behind a black plastic panel held in by 12 or 13 screws. Panel is located above inverter/charger. Our Diplomat was built at the HR factory, so might be different if your rig was built in Oregon. Image is defective relay from our rig. And mounting area of relay with cover removed. Pat C
