  1. The "Prime" function of my Racor filtration system is not working, so Racor has suggested I replace it with their "upgrade", the 790R30 system since the one I have is obsolete. They tell me that "the fuel connections are not the same" but have not told me much more about the old system (pictures attached). I had sent same pictures to them but they cannot/did not tell me the old part# or its specs so I'm not sure what to adapt from. I know the 790R30 ports are (SAE J1926) 7/8"-14 UNF from the spec they sent me. The pictures attached show right angle fittings of a sort, they look like they're fuel line disconnects, but I'm not sure of that. Ideally what I'd like to do is adapt from whatever these are to the 7/8"-14UNF threads in the 790R30. Does anyone have a system with connectors like this? Anyone adapted from this setup like mine to the 790R30?
  2. David, Thanks for the info. I was unaware that any of the 07's would have the chassis mux. I have seen a few 08's without it; passed them up for other reasons. Whenever I look at an 08, that front run box has been the first thing I look at, now I'll start at that point with 07's too.
  3. If it's the "Haldex KN20031" it's available here: https://www.finditparts.com/products/368639/haldex-kn20031
  4. Walter, Thanks for the TOC. Frank, I emailed you a link to my PDF copy of the 03 Dynasty Wiring Book. Let me know if you got it OK. If not I'll find another way. .. Rick P
  5. Hi, Has anyone here replaced the original dual wheel braided valve extenders? I've talked to some tire places and they can provide/install a valve with a rigid extender on the inside dual to go thru the hand hole in the outer wheel... they also can put a short valve turned out for the outer dual. However I've seen some dualies which have a "stabilizer" for the rigid stem which comes thru the outer wheel. Some I've seen look like rubber in a circle. My '03 Dynasty has a "D" shape wheel hole; I've seen many Monacos which have these type. Tire guys say they can replace valves and install the rigid extenders but none have the "stabilizer" for our type wheel. I looked in the parts list and find the link to Borg Tire Supply; parts list shows a rubber plug which looks like it fits those "D" holes... but link doesn't work. The Wheelmasters site shows extenders but not those rubber plugs. Other supplier suggestions?
  6. Bill, Someone might have confused you with the guy who set up the "groups.io Bill's Monacoers". This is getting crazy... was that accusation made on the FB page? I'll go there later to check.
  7. I have an additional thought; I should have posted a note that the groups.io "Bill's Monacoers" forum is not the real deal .... for all who are leaving .... before you unsubscribe, post a note.
  8. David, It looks like I was fooled "big time" by this guy. I had heard that the "visualsc" group was bogus. When I saw the groups.io email which said that the "group on groups.io is a much better fit" than the one on visualsc I thought I was hearing from the original yahoo monacoers. Not being a frequent user of the monacoers form, or any forum for that matter, the groups.io statement had been enough to convince me. I have just now unsubscribed to monacoers-groups.io, however, everyone should know that if this guy got my email. It's likely he got the emails of all the original monacoers. While I don't have a problem with forums in general, it is disconcerting to see that a forum would fake it's identity. What could possibly be the motivation behind doing something like that. I am not an attorney, however if someone has stolen your parts list or other intellectual property, legal action may be possible. If anything you have copyrighted is stolen, the case for legal action may be stronger. The best to you guys who have contributed so much information. I have appreciated the documents and advice over the years. ... Rick P, 03 Dynasty
  9. Some time ago I discovered a website at visualsc.com entitled "monacoers". I inquired about it and some time later received a reply in October: "You recently requested access to our test forum at http://www.visualsc.com/monacoers/ This is a Test/Demonstration forum that is not currently open to users and may not be in the future." .... On Dec 9th I received a message: "You have been invited by Group Admin to join the Groups.io group monacoers@groups.io. The following message was included by Group Admin: You had previously applied to http://www.visualsc.com/monacoers which was under development. After review, we have realized that a group on groups.io is a much better fit to our objectives." .... I saw a message sent to me yesterday, Dec. 10th posted around 9AM,: "Welcome to the monacoers@groups.io group at Groups.io. ".... Then around 2PM yesterday, another message: "Hi rpasetto, An administrator has created a new account for you at Bill D’s Monacoers. Your account details are: ".... My first thought was that these were all the same group.. and that the original group had either changed URL or added an alternate... then a long-time friend who I knew was in monacoers explained that the visualsc and groups.io groups were not the original monacoers. I haven't been only occasionally active in the yahoo-monacoers forum; this seemingly conflicting information is puzzling. I'm not sure what is going on but I think that I now have the right group here. However if I was confused it's possible that others have been confused as well. Just want those running this group to be aware what may have happened to others.
