  1. I spoke with CG&J. Looks like there were a few versions of the radiator that were used in my Coach. Looks like I will have to get it out to confirm the questions they had before I can order. Will start that project when the season winds down
  2. Ok. Thanks Gents! i will give CG&J a call. I will let you know how I make out.
  3. I will be needing to replace the radiator in my 2006 Executive with a Detroit 60 Series Engine. I know I’ve seen a company that makes them on a forum but I’ve done a search and cannot find anything. If anyone knows of a reputable source for a replacement radiator please let me know. Quality is most important to me. Thank you! Steve
  4. Ya. My wife says the same thing but it’s going to happen in a couple years. I enjoy working on improvements to my coach too but after owning it for 5 years now I’m having a hard time finding things to do.
  5. Mile What are you going to do with yourself when you can’t find anything to improve or fix? Nice work and thanks for sharing!
  6. Much less in Mexico and so is the quality. Ok to go there if you don’t mind a lower quality outcome.
  7. I’m also interested if a source is found. Although I need The Executive logo.
  8. In my case it only mattered that the match and fit were perfect in the front because the rest of the cut was hidden by the cabinets next to it.
  9. For the bottom piece I cut it on a table saw. That’s the easy part. For the top I used a Saber Saw and a hand saw very carefully. Then a lot of filing using a straight edge to constantly check for low points. It is tedious and a bit time consuming but for me I felt easier than disassembling the cabinets
  10. I did not remove mine when altering it. After removing the TV I marked and carefully cut the cabinet removing the section that was lower than the adjacent cabinets. Then I cut the bottom off of the TV section I removed just above the corner radius. Then back to the mounted cabinet, I cut more off of the cabinet So when I reattached the bottom again the bottom matched the other cabinets. The cuts had to be precise and clean so that when reassembled it looked original. I was fortune to have doors from the desk that I had removed and they are the perfect height. Now I have a little extra storage for items that are handy to have close to the entry such as gloves, hats and rain jackets
  11. You’re asking the wrong guy as I am only 5’6”. 😂 but I would say that they may be small for you. With that said I would think all of this type is seating may be the same situation for you. If you don’t mind your legs hanging off the end of the footrest I think they will work fine for you
  12. If you have a vent fan in the garage it shouldn’t be an issue running the RV A/C
  13. If space is an issue you can eliminate the center section of my arrangement when ordering.
  14. Don’t let the picture fool you. My jackknife sofa was on the passenger side where my sleeper sofa is now. The theater seating is the same length as the desk and associated cabinets were. There is much more room at the dinette than it appears. Same amount as there was from the factory.
  15. I bought them from Rec Pro and I am happy with them. They come apart so easy to install and assemble.
  16. Here’s what I did. Removed the above dash TV. Altered the cabinet and used the doors from the desk that I removed. I put theater reclining seating where the desk was and put a TV lift behind a sleeper sofa on the passenger side
  17. Yeah. I will be added to my annual checklist.
  18. I lubricated mine while still mounted on the Coach. I used a lube with Teflon and squirted a bunch down from the top and also from the bottom while actuating it. Let it sit and soak for a bit then actuated it a bunch of times. Now I can move them both by hand. I think my issue was the rollers not turning freely. Mine did make what sounded like a grinding noise also.
  19. Thanks George! I didn’t end up removing them. Went and got a good Teflon lube and soaked them good from the top and bottom. What a difference! Don’t think they were ever lubed and I wouldn’t have know to unless I started to investigate after the actuator plate that was riveted to the side of the Coach popped off. Prior to living them I had a tough time actuating them with an adjustable wrench. Now I can move then freely by hand. Nice!! Thanks again to everyone that chimed in on this for me. I appreciate the help very much.
  20. Spent some time on the HWH website looking for a diagram of these mechanisms but I do not see them anywhere. Hoping that someone can provide some detail of these with the cover removed.
  21. They must have made a design change on later models that don’t need them. In my case they are certainly needed to pull the top of the slide in tight when closed. Without then working the top of the slide will remain tipped out when closed. I will try living them from the top down. Didn’t really want to douse them too much and have it running out the bottom making a mess but I can see that it is needed
  22. Thank you. I did try spraying some lube up from the bottom but no improvement. Still sounds like crap. The noice is from near the bottom. Hope to hear from someone about the cover
