  1. Ugh! Certainly the family found it too hard to walk away from 300mm but the summary from Thor clearly defines the path, which is to increase profits. Not unusual with an acquisition but in this case a bit scary considering some of Thors quality issues. Likely not to be much of a change while Bob is still there but after he is retired who knows.
  2. You don’t have to cut any wires. Once you have the mirrors off the Coach remove the arm mounted cameras if you have them or the light that is in the same location at the bottom of the arm. On mine there were plugs located inside. Pull them out and unplug and remove the mirror heads. Then carefully pull the remaining wire out of the arm. Then you have to drive out the split pins that hold in the eyebolt. That’s it. Once you get the components back be sure to use special care when installing the split pins. I made a soft wood cradle to hold the arm while driving the pins in. Not a difficult job at all as long as you have moderate mechanical abilities
  3. I’ve had mine done by Space Coast. Excellent workmanship and customer service. They actually had a set the same as mine done so I had the newly plated bases and arms back in a few days. Highly recommend Dave’s outfit.
  4. I would try Lazy Days, formally Alliance. They were a top Monaco Dealer and service location. Likely to still have some folks there with a strong Monaco background.
  5. I’ve never seen aluminum inner wheels. Agree with others that this may be your issue
  6. Unfortunately that like won’t work for the legacy coaches. It was such a great resource but I do understand why REV discontinued it. I wish they instead would have charged for the service.
  7. I wasn’t aware that there was only one wheel offset but it does make sense as it avoids the potential wrong wheel being put in place as I had thought might happen. So strange. What size tires are currently on the rear?
  8. I would also think that this is a wheel offset issue. How much space is in between the inner and outer tire? If is looks excessive then maybe the inner wheels where swapped out at some point. This could have happened at a tire replacement by accident and therefore there would not be record of it.
  9. Agree. Great posts by both of you thanks!!!
  10. Do you have the manual? If so there should be info on the brand. What about on the controller?
  11. Ok. Does your slide have the two rails underneath? Do you know what make slide it is?
  12. This is my slide. I can assure you that is in tight.
  13. Can you share a picture of it. Mine does not look like it tight at the front bottom either but in fact it is closed properly.
  14. Just a thought....why worry about the paint if no one can see it. I certainly respect that you guys like the bra’s but to me it detracts from the look. If it could be color matched close then it certainly will look better
  15. Put a new 3M or similar product back on. The new product will look perfect well beyond the time you have the Coach as they have improved. Plastic shields are ugly (MHO) and bras will scratch the paint. My mew film has been on for 7 years now and is still invisible
  16. Amongst the many things that I am thankful for in my life is the great group of folks on this site. I hope that you all have a safe and enjoyable day despite the current conditions Thank you all for your help, guidance and support!!
  17. Don’t know how braided extensions would be used if they were not meant to be under pressure. As Scotty mentioned, I have also used them for years without an issue. Wouldn’t want to try to maintain pressure on the inside tires without them
  18. My coach has a duct down the center from front to back which basically connects all of the A/C units and disperses the air evenly throughout although I do not have the small ducts in the center. Mine branch off to each side also. Sorry I don’t have a picture handy to share.
  19. I had an issue with transmission shifting and it turned out to be my pigtail cable to my toad had a short. I only though to unplug it because a friend had the same issue with his auto shift transmission in his Super C when we were on a trip together. His pigtail got caught up in his tow bar a got pinched and cut.
  20. Yes I have the plastic shims between the wheels. You can get them at many truck tire shops
  21. I removed mine some time ago also. Never used it and I thought it was a bit of a hazard.
  22. So I finally took a moment to get down to the Coach and look at the manual. My manual has the exact same page the Ivan posted. Have no idea where I got the misinformation regarding the torque specs but I appreciate you guys setting me straight. Now it looks like I need to research and make a few tool purchases. thanks guys!
  23. Holy Cr*p!! I guess I better pull mine and check again. I will let you know what I find thanks!
  24. 500lbs😳?? That’s a lot more than what it’s spec’ed for RV’s. 200-250 is the normal range for large motor homes like the larger Monaco’s. Where did you get the spec for 500lbs?
