Well Scotty I tried the 5/16 lag bolts but un fortunately the #14 self drilling screws ripped enough of the wood behind the wall that the lag bolts won’t tighten down. Any other suggestions appreciated. My plan is to attempt to remove the affected leg and drill a larger hole and glue a wood dowel in place. Then pre drill for the #14’s again plus seal end of wood before reattaching leg. I was amazed that where Monaco put these #14 screws in that there was no sealant since the leg is basically a “C” channel which allows water to travel down wall behind the leg and across the bare part of the screw which could soak in around the threads.

I also bought off Ebay but they only lasted a few months before they started flickering one by one.

I have a problem with the wall mounting lag bolts at the top of one of the arms have pulled out of the wall. Does anyone know what is behind the wall that they are screwed into? I’m assuming maybe a block of wood! Any ideas on a repair without having to remove the whole assembly?

Replacing my halogen bulbs with led bulbs from Cabin Bright. Talk to Joe about what u may need.

I wish that was in my coach! Mines the Kongsburg unit. I got lucky and bought 2 off ebay ($250 ea) when I broke down on the east coast 2 years ago.

My first coach had decals and they were checking. The new owner removed decals and had them painted on.

I have 2009 Knight and all dark colors are starting to check.

Just bypass the solenoid and use your battery switches in battery box if u need to shut power off. This way u wont have to worry about bumping it. Its a useless Salesman pitch!!! Before and after bypassed below.

Dave My RP box is in a cabinet above dash next to entry door. First set of Multi wires go thru side of cabinet down passenger side of post for windshield into dash and radio. Second and third set go thru same side but go into radius part of roof and one set out cabinet above passenger to Home Theatre which we don’t use as dvd player in it shows dvd’s with green tint. The third set must (I assume) go into ceiling and off to all speakers. My radio/theatre switch is in cabinet above entry door. My tv is in passenger side kitchen slide and I have video cables that run from tv down thru lower kitchen cabinets out to below fridge into wall up to roof radius out wall into cabinet above passenger where home theater, DVD player and cable box are. And of course not having xray vision, its guess work. Good luck!!

Im confused about your switcher as u call it. The switcher is the 6CHXOV-01. as far as I know. Then the only other switch is the one from radio to home theater switch. HOME THEATER BLOCK REVISION C (08) 38080188.pdf

Ronald You might add what type of roof u have. I’ve seen EDM, fiberglass and metal roofs with a seam down the middle. Mine is fiberglass and I clean and wipe down with Aerospace 303.

Dave Have you talked to riverpark? I have the same unit in my 09 Knight. Ill look for schematics. It maybe a couple of days though. Hopefully someone else will be faster and my coach is several notches lower than yours. I found 5 drawings of the system (2008 Home Theater System). Drawing number 38080188, not sure what u have.

We had planned to attend this year but the IRS changed our schedule. Still going to Florida but not till May to see Chris and Ingrid T for upgrades. But it would be great if it could be held mid US.

We removed our Spendide just because we wanted more storage space. Mine went out the door with no problems. Our door width is 26-5/8”. Its heavy so at least two healthy people to remove.

I got the same! I’m sure all will be taken care of soon plus I still see a few Monacoers are still using it. I have forwarded directions to all that keep showing up on old site. I will be curious as to how many actual members make it to new site someday.

Haven’t had that problem yet. Hope someone wii clue you in on it.
