  1. I used mineral spirits to get black tar cleaned up then denatured alcohol after that . Mine came off with just a putty knife in one piece and 95 degree weather.
  2. My 09 had similar loss on 12v. Ended up being a 5amp fuse in black box above batteries. Don’t know about your coach though.
  3. I’ve never owned a coach that during a rain storm and bringing in a slide that the wiper removes all of the water from the slide roof. There is always some water that ends up in the coach unless you go outside with a squeegee and mop to remove as much as u can of the water before bringing in the slide. This is my third coach and all the same. If you park with Front or rear slightly down, most will run off. Just part of coach life.
  4. It does and it doesn’t. Technically the wiper should push the water to the farthest edge to and up to the highest point. Technically that is.
  5. I went to https://www.te.com/global-en/plp/amp-circular-power-connectors/Zn60YG2dj.html and you might call them to match up the 5 pin connector.
  6. Im dont know but just looking at mine. You probably need to figure a way to support the side of rivet u cant see and the u need a blunt taper punch to spread the end with a hammer on the end u can see. Spreading that side enough should hold the nylon part in place. If u still have the plastic pcs, put them back on and do your best to spread that end enough to hold the plastic in place. They are probably there for friction purposes.
  7. Wish i took more pics when I had mine out. But it looks and feels like a hollow rivet with a nylon bushing around it. Maybe the nylon acts as a washer.
  8. Probably better connection that way.
  9. Try this! https://highskyrvparts.com/rv-parts/awning-shade/lippert-components-awnings/switches-and-remote-controls/carefree-rv-awning-switch-receptacle-r001147
  10. Depends on time. We are usually up till 10-11pm. Tomorrow moving to mountains and service is spotty.
  11. Hi Laurice Since we have the same coach, I might be able to help as mine leaks also. If you still have my number, call me.
  12. None of the 1157 LED’s I’ve tried beat the standard incandescent 1157 bulb. The Sylvania was the best but still not great.
  13. I have the same coach as Laurice. Ive heard of being able to start engine from rear but never have seen the switches. Does every coach have them?
  14. I have the same setup except its in my second bay just before the water heater bay. Yes this is the prep for external gadgets. I assume it is on the regulated system.
  15. Atwood is Duncan now. No more 2-1/2” radius windows. Only 3”. And Lippert owned.
  16. Im getting the same opinion of Duncan so far. Since it is a small window, Im going to have Coach Glass in Coburg, Oregon fix it. But they only replace with laminated glass. Update: Duncan only sells complete side windows. No just glass replacement. Atwood frames are 2-1/2 radius and are obsolete. All new radius windows are 3” radius. They emailed me a template to see which I have. If I have the 3” then they Might be able to source only a complete window. Geeze!!!!
  17. Well if I was in that area, that would be great. Ive been sitting here for two months and now planning on heading out. Why didnt it break four weeks or more ago. Dang it!!!
  18. Thanks Richard. I am waiting for return call as I have left a couple of messages already. They did not mention about being able to replace with insulated glass, only laminated as they are phasing out the insulated in a voicemail they left me.
  19. Im in Northern California right now and soon to home in Ashland,Oregon. Every glass shop I’ve contacted so far gave me the info of the process is to cut two pieces of glass then send them out wherever to temper then assemble to then install. Im leaving area before all that can be done. That Duncan Systems. Already trying to work with them as they have replaced two of my windshields. But, not getting a good feeling this time around.
  20. I’ll try calling as the info from them via email is only that they are obsolete. Apparently they think I want a whole window.
  21. Any help on replacing upper insulated glass in bedroom window appreciated. Has anyone taken apart the frame themselves to replace? Ive done YouTube search but nothing on actual breakdown of frame. Haven't found local glass shop that will do insulated, only laminated.
  22. A picture of your slide might help us if u haven’t found it yet!
  23. Is it a cable slide? Mine is on wall above slide in wood accent box.
  24. Good info: Currently quarantined in the area.
