  1. Coming down a long 6+% grade is Colorado yesterday I did see 197 for a short time near the end of the grade. Tim
  2. Mine runs between mid 180s and 190 all of the time but I have a different trans then you. Tim
  3. I have tried one and my doors are two close together for it to work. Tim
  4. That makes me think your problem is in your front electrical bay. I'm not the best person to figure this out. I still can't get my courtesy lights to work on my steering wheel to work Tim
  5. Do you have a clock spring or a slip ring in your steering wheel? I have a slip ring and the tabs that connected to the spring sucked. see pictures and try to enlarge them on your screen. The bottom is before I soldered wires and the top is after. Tim
  6. Are your sure the board is seeing 12.5? Tim
  7. If you don't, here it is. Tim SmartWheel TROUBLESHOOT.pdf
  8. Then I would start focusing at the power going in to the VIP control board. Make sure you have 12+ voltage going to it. Tim
  9. Have you checked the plug at the base of the steering column? Check the voltage at that plug and unplug it and plug it back together four or five times to see if you can make the connection better. Tim
  10. Just keeping that Monaco coaches are snow flakes. I'm looking for these closet door latches. The picture of the knobs are on the end of the sliding mirror closet door and the other picture is the sockets the knobs go in on the sliding door jam. Anyone have a source?
  11. Look at my two pictures here. In the middle of the diagram just left of the solenoid you will see line of connections. The top one is ignition. It has a yellow jumper wire the one below it. Cut that jumper wire and splice into it. That's what I used to power the relay for my FASS pump. Tim
  12. Stephen, This is the answer I got from Banks when I asked. "If you lengthen the rod on the actuator two full turns, the wastegate will open sooner reducing boost about 5 PSI." Where are you heading out from and are going north?
  13. Thank you, I'm sure you have seen my posts on here or irv2 about my charge air cooler saga. Tim
  14. JJ, When everything is off (not salesmen switch) I have about 4.5 amp draw. I only have 400ah of lithium and the Victron MultiPlus II, 700 W of solar. I full time and it works fine also running my JC converted Norcold 1200 with a 120 volt compressor. Stephen do you get 35 Psi of boost with your Banks Power Pack? Tim
  15. From what I have seen the new pumps are plastic and not built well at all. I would do my best to fix it, but that's just me. Tim
  16. Without any leaks I get 35 psi with the Banks kit. (stock for my engine is 24 psi) After I verify everything is working as it should I'm going to adjust it down to 30psi. In hopes I won't have anymore CAC problems. Tim
  17. Can you post a picture of the intake hoses or a link without using Face Book? I don't use FB. They have the Red boots like mine on there along with others. What model of hose did you use? I'm in the process of having my CAC re-cord and now would be the time to change over to them. Tim
  18. Hi Bruce, I have had zero problems with temp, either the trans or engine even in hot temps (110F) My problem has been the CAC cracking-leaking. So that's why I'm doing the modes listed above. Tim
  19. When the shop installs the CAC they are going to add rubber in between the mounts to help. This is why I'm having a OTR type core put in. And I plan on turning down my boost 5 psi. So I will see how that goes. Tim
  20. Sorry I don't know but I will be watching for the info. Did you post this on irv2 also? Tim
  21. I decided to drive at 60 mph this year rather then 65 so we will see how that goes. Fuel will not be my biggest cost this year as I'm in Albuquerque, NM waiting to have my CAC re-cored. After just replacing it less then four years ago. This time it will be what CG&J calls a heavy duty core. $$$$ don't know yet. Tim
  22. My Coach has a separate Trans cooler that's the length of the radiator and 6 or 8" tall. I have not ever seen anything over 210 and that was four years ago climbing grades out of Phoenix at 110 ambient. And my engine has never topped 197 at the top of a long grade. I guess I'm lucky in that matter, not in others. Tim
  23. I didn't buy the CerboGX or the screen. I set my system up to just run and I check my BMV-712 when I need to. It fits for the dry camping I do 95% of the time. Tim
  24. I just put in the MP2 and 400ah of lithium (two 200ah Lossigy batteries. Sorry I didn't even like the GAS with my Trace so I don't know which wires to use from the phone line into the relay connection in the MP2. Tim
