  1. Hit the scales in the way back from DMV. Front: 8450 Rear: 18450 Was towing a 6/10 trailer and full Diesel, full fresh, and about 1/4 on Grey and Black. I was able to drop the fronts down to 95 PSI based on tire chart. My question, how “close” the the weight/PSI should I get? A few hundred pounds over, or quite a bit more?
  2. Quick clean up and a 3 hr drive to hit a DMV with an open slot. Need to get the title switched over. Have several trailers that need titles as well, so I’m taking 1 and wife following with another. She cleaned up well. Getting there for sure.
  3. From Recpro. They specialize in RV remodels https://www.recpro.com/rv-dinette-led-light-brushed-nickel-12v/
  4. Finally got to the couch today. Not a bad couch, it’s tri-fold for if guests show up. I had to modify the bottom as our slides are shallow. Took off the 2 cross braces and added a piece of 3/4 plywood. Used the bolts that held the seat belts
  5. Very nice! How hard were the plumbing chases to build out? We are making ours out of 1/4 plastic for ease of use. If the wife wants to add the plank to them latter Again, super clean work.
  6. Like a pressure tank on a well?
  7. Micro build out and install And I know most are down on the Norcold, wife wanted a little change, and plastic panels were easy and look great
  8. Someone with more experience can vouch on rivets. Galvanic (I believe that’s the word) can occur when using dissimilar metals, ie steel with aluminum. Given the age of the coach, it might not be a big deal as it seems there tends to be other forces at work behind the walls and under the floors. As for polish, if it’s a single stage paint, and I would believe it is, TR3 resin glaze is hard to beat to bring back shine and remove oxidation. But again, someone who owns one would know the paint for sure.
  9. Indeed. The good stuff takes training. In order to offer a “warranty” they have to ensure it was applied properly. My F250 took 3 days alone. Had multiple coats of a certain product line and it has to cure between coats. It’s on thick, in fact it’s very smooth that little to no orange peel is present. On all our rigs coated, no soap with wax, or quick wax can be used. It clogs the coating.
  10. Little more done: Took out old Microwave. New one vents a little different, so had to build 2” base to push it out. Had a good friend paint the Lower Cabinets. Reinstalling the sink cabinet. No shut offs for the water, so added some. Built a frame for drawer in sink cabinet. And new faucet In case you wanted to see how the micro comes out
  11. Lotta work to wet sand. Your coach is beautiful, very worth it.
  12. I’m having palpitations as I know how much it costs to do a pickup.
  13. Definitely getting near limit for sure Gotcha, I can’t imagine changing lanes much. Thank God for good GPS that get me in the right lane ahead of time
  14. Yeah, once I saw the boxed frame inside I knew I was ok to go. I did the vent on our 5th wheel last year, no hole, no sticker to tell me where to drill. That one was really nerve wracking
  15. Was the right hole. All installed
  16. Some easy work before bed. Finished the dimmable light swap to LED. Started switching out cabinet knobs
  17. Screened for unwelcome visitors, some coin floor and a pan. Will grab a coupler and reinstall the drain tomorrow.
  18. Was able to get sometime off. Working my way out from the back. Yes, the 1/4 hole was the right hole for the W/D vent. Cut and installed.
  19. I always chuckle when people ding state parks for not having cell service. To top it off, those chose a park by the highway, then complain about noise.
  20. The speeds will get higher as ground infrastructure gets on board and the dishes are not locked on one Satellite as they are now. It’s going to be a pretty big deal I feel.
