  1. We have Beta here, so it’s all over the place at times. I’ve hit 180mps. It averages 80/90 I guess when the ground support is up and running it will get better. Some claim as high as 300 We can stream whatever we want. Surfing is easy. Zoom/Skype does run into trouble sometimes, so Currently not the best or business
  2. We have Starlink currently here at our home base. It’s been announced that they plan on having RV kits available by the end of the year. Anyone else using them now and/or plan on adding to their coach?
  3. Interesting read through the posts. It’s hard because having been born, raised, and trying to make a living here in Oregon. I’ve seen the impact first hand. Please remember and don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Loads of Good, common sense people out there, we are just outweighed by the bigger cites. It’s a daily grind for sure. (sorry, not to say other people are bad, or have no common sense, or not I say I’m the only one, LOL)
  4. Good ole GM late 80’s ignition. It’s on my list as well.
  5. Cleaning up and remembered I had them change the serp belt. Glad I did
  6. James is the man. Going to help a bud tackle the back of his 5th wheel that’s delaminated.
  7. Just got the Dip back. While is was hard to hand the suspension work off, I’m glad I did. Time, time, time. If you are on the fence or have not done the TRW box, take the leap. No more play in the wheel. None, zero, zilch, nada. I put it though some curves, it held the road very nice. The under steer lean is way more manageable Anxious to get it on the freeway, but we don’t have any our town.
  8. Awesome! Where did you get the material? We are in same boat, need to upgrade
  9. Ok. We have. 2019 Raptor that we are thinking about adding an ADD bumper that has Clevis mounts. (recovery mounts) I believe it’s blue Ox that has a clevis mount bar used on Jeep’s. We like the simplicity of the mounts, and get a cool bumper with lights. I haven’t researched it a bunch as wife isn’t convinced yet to let me tow her truck. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f85/jeep-jks-and-blue-ox-towbars-316146.html
  10. Thanks all, will be exploring your suggestions
  11. Thanks, it’s on my todo list when I get it back end of the week
  12. One thing that I need to source is the panel that handles the sensor lights in the dash It looks light this one was cracked and was glued. Looks bad. Everything works, but it’s not pretty. Short of a wreak yard, anyone ever replace theirs and got the part from where? thx
  13. Thanks! I called Weller just to make sure their box will run on the 10w40 and all is good. Going to run what it brung.
  14. Here’s what I got. Zero information on the reservoir Definitely Motor Oil
  15. I’ll be near it here in a bit and will snap a pick. I’ve checked it several times, it’s not red for sure Thanks to both
  16. Good morn, In the middle of the TRW swap and I swear I read in the manual 10/40 for fluid but also see in manual Dextron 3 from factory. I cannot find the fluid chart now that said 10/40. Feel like I’m more crazy now! Any advice/knowledge would be helpful. Waiting on Torque multiplier to come in tomorrow to get started. thanks
  17. I bought 2 of those before I saw our coach. I’ve only had flat floor slides in the past. Our Dip has raised floor, so these sit in the box. YouTube is full of videos of people updating their rvs with plank flooring only to see it gouged when the slide dips in at the end of its journey in. The slickers are a good investment .
  18. Read through your post. are you upgrading your Inverter/charger as well? Looking at this upgrade myself. I have not delved in the specifics much as it’s a later project, but I’m looking at the Victron Multiplus 2 and it will charge the chassis batteries. Has a plug in for it. https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/MultiPlus-II_12V_3kVA_2x120V/MultiPlus-II_3kVA_120V-en.pdf
  19. Thanks, your right, I haven’t got that far into researching the Norcold. I guess I’ll cross that bridge eventually. A lot will depend on solar as well. I have a smaller footprint on the roof. Ideally, we want to be able to extend stays without shore power, and not run the genny for hours a day. Thanks again.
  20. Rear AC gasket done. New covers both AC. Front AC gasket will have to wait till I have more time. Off to the shop for Suspension mods after I get the hoses buttoned on the new surge tank. sensor for it came in today.
  21. After advice about the absorb refer, I started down the rabbit hole of a Residential fridge. We love ours in our 5vr, however the task of getting one in the door of the Dip looked crazy. Found JC Refrigeration. They make kits to update Norcold/Dometic. I figured it upgrade to a straight 12V package for our current Norcold 1200, but opened up the back of my fridge, and PO had a JC update done to this fridge. While it’s still LP/AC, I will sleep better knowing that it’s a solidly built system. I will still be upgrading to the 12V package, the lower power consumption is alone is well worth it. But I have some time now, and funds to dedicated elsewhere.
