I had the same problem when I purchased mine. Ended up being the main control board. Flight Systems at the time was working on a prototype board and sent it to me for 300 dollars. Still working just fine. Ivan is the man who needs to chime in on this thread.

You have a newer coach. You need to look at your schematics.

Mine is near the compressor under the coach. Be sure to be safe while going under the coach at all times. I can't express that enough.

No, it's simply on off. I know it's not the best solution but it's better than the fan wide open all the time. I've looked other options but money is tight and for now this works. Once this job is over and I get back to home base I will be able to get a friend to hook up insite and see what's going on with my ecm. Earlier in the year I had discussed this with Ivan and another member named Melvin. Melvin had contacted source engineering and they came up with a way to solve the variable fan speed. here is an official description of the solenoid valve function, just like Melvin described based on intake manifold temp: Motorhomes equipped with an ISM engine have an electric over hydraulic override control valve. The override valve is located at the lower rear corner of the radiator package. This valve is a normally closed valve which is plumbed parallel with the thermovalve. It performs the same hydraulic signal function as the thermovalve, but is electrically controlled by the ISM engine. The ISM engine monitors intake manifold temperature. The electronics of the ISM engine control an 87a relay located in the rear run box marked Hyd. Fans. When intake manifold operating temperatures are normal, the electronic engine energizes the coil of the relay. This energizes the coil of the override valve and the hydraulic fluid signal flows through the override valve to the thermovalve. If the ISM engine detects an over temperature condition of the intake manifold, the coil of the 87a relay is deactivated. Power to the override valve is removed, hydraulic fluid flow signal is stopped and internal spool of the switching valve moves to full open position. The high pressure fluid is directed to fan motors cooling

I ended up making my own too. I have a digital thermometer that sends a signal to the coil.

I don't know much about Burlington but Greensboro has a hydraulic supply shop that's decent size and they may be able to refer you to a repair shop close by.

Always check the "clocking" of the drive housing. Sometimes the bolts are one spot off and the starter will not mount correctly. A real pain in the @ss to put that big joker in place to only hear it spin.

Only things in that area that I can think of would be Security system , trip tek , surround sound system If you can trace the wires to a plug that has a number on it.... I'm sure that will pin point what option was not installed or removed.

I can't describe how infested mine was with chipmunks. They had nests everywhere. They built one inside the air intake to my generator no less. (That cost me a cool 1k to repair ).... nests In the kitchen, the bedroom, etc, I found discarded nuts everywhere. Since I've been in one spot for so long I worry about field mice but the only thing I've had so far is small sugar ants.

Too many systems out there now that are far superior and cheaper.

My coach came with a Bose lifestyle surround sound system with a sub woofer mounted under my kitchen sink. I added a bluetooth receiver to one of the imput jacks. This system has a DVD player incorporated in it.

Its like a water pump, at some point its gonna fail.... A rebuild kit should be available. It just depends on whether you want to try and rebuild or get a reman or new compressor.

Yes sir....your air compressor "head" gasket has failed allowing coolant into the air system. How much coolant have you lost?

Good find! I'm doing a little rewiring in the engine bay now and I'll check my ecm connections. I know the cruise is working at the module ....but I've had other problems and I put the cruise on the back burner.

I went ahead and just ordered both ac thermostats. Like yall said , I'll just heat with the diesel side when I need it until my parts come. A funny side note. I've owned this coach for almost 2 years and I never could find my bay heater. I just happened to look up and out of the corner of my eye I spotted the fan over the center of the aquahot unit. Completely hidden! Whenever I get enough time off I need to go back through my unit and replace bearings in the burner. Too many projects to going on right now to do that. Thanks for all the advise guys....

Well, if it isn't one thing it's another. My aquahot has run like a champ all winter long. 2 days ago I noticed the water was unusually hot. So I opened the lower bay and steam rolled out. The overflow was bubbling and the tank was roughly 5 gal low. I filled it up and turned off the diesel side and only ran the electric element. This morning I opened the bay again and ......same thing, steam coming out and everything in that bay is slightly wet. I have a good idea the problem is one of the thermostats has gone bad. Has anyone else had this happen? It's about time to do another service anyways......

Ivan, I bought a new intake sensor and installed it a while back and I still have the fans at full speed all the time. I have two options as of right now. I can call cummins and let them hook up a computer to reflash or, I can just eliminate the 12v coil valve and let the wax valve run the fans. With the information you guys have uncovered I believe it's definitely a false signal from the ecm. I've been looking for a high pressure switch for the a/c but with no luck.
