I agree with Steve on making sure everything else is working correctly and you have suffencient power , but my element failed. Even the Aquahot sales rep told me he had never heard of an element failing. I have proof.....lol. The only conclusion he and I came to on this is because at some point the water level had gotten too low and the element overheated......funny thing is , it still worked even ruptured. The only way I found it was because it would slightly shock me when I touched the actual "boiler".

Yes, two little wires hooked to carabiners attached directly to the wood. Any little snag would break the wood. That's why I added the metal strips so the wires have a little "meat" to hold onto and it spreads out the stress. I used zip ties on the ends of the wires so that will be the weakest point if it ever binds up again.....

Mine did the same. Somehow the wood roll got stuck and all of a sudden I hear this ripping sound. I put the broke piece back together and went to Ace Hardware and bought a 2" aluminum flat strip. Cut it in half and put on both sides of the end of the roll. I drilled staggered holes and used interior binding post screws to bind together because you don't want anything to "grab" or snag on cables or wiring. Ended up costing me about 20 bucks? Good luck....

On my executive I had a really bad leak at the shower connection behind the on/off valve. The plastic pex connector had cracked. I had to extend the slide and remove the panel directly behind the shower. Two screws and silicone held the 2 panels in place.

This forum is fantastic! I followed the advise of removing the passenger seat, then I slid it into place using an upside down mat and I did it completely by myself. She came in the door with very little room to spare using my knees as leverage points. (That was the hardest part) She slid across the tile and carpet like melted butter. I didn't know part of the rear closet was removeable so you can access the rear of the machine while you're installing it. That made it so much easier. The splindide washer/dryer combo is a little pricey but I'm just not that crazy about going to the laundry mat after work and certainly there are some strange characters at the local Suds & Such .....so, time will tell if it was worth it. Thanks for the advise guys......

Well, the time has come to plan to install a washer/dryer. The previous owner took the splindide out at some point and capped the waterline. He/she installed shelving in its place. It just seems to me getting the washing machine in the door and in the closet will be extremely difficult. Will I have to disassemble the new washer to a certain degree to get in? Also, do I need to install a pan for it to sit in? Also, according to the build sheet this thing had an icemaker at one time and you can see the holes in the floor where it was installed. Does anyone still have one and what does it look like. I don't want one , I was just curious to see how big this thing was.

I've been diligently working on several things that were the most important to getting this coach back up and "usable" again. The A/C heat pumps , work but the bedroom unit needs to be replaced. The generator is working like it should, the aqua-hot is working like top now and I couldn't be happier about that but I should have replaced the mixing valve while I was in there. I have so many thing on my "to do list" but work and day to day life gets in the way sometimes. I was inspecting the windshield yesterday and apparently the windshield has popped out on the corners and it's been that way for sometime but I didn't notice because of some sort of an added drip rail. At some point someone added a rubber piece and siliconed it in place ......maybe to cover up the gap? The drip rail had come loose on the drivers side and I pulled it away to see this gap......good news is, it's not leaking even with that rubber removed. Maybe the frame twisted and the windshield popped out? The gasket being 20 years old I'd like to replace it and reseal the windshield but this windshield is massive and there is no chance I'm doing this alone. Has anyone replaced just the gasket on their windshield?

I still get a kick out of where they resourced these lights from. My headlights are from a cadillac. Not sure about the tail lights though.....probably a Ford fiesta....lol

I'm sure it can be done. I've seen a Volkswagen beetle with a ls6 , the question is why? The cost of a retrofit in a 97 sig vs a stock swap wouldn't seem economical to me. 🤔

I'm just a little shocked because mine was pretty much abandoned in a lot not running. Neglected for who knows how many years and I can't imagine someone just letting 400k plus motorhome just sit and rot.

I had an infestation when I moved here to this spot. It's a newer park and the fireants loved crawling up my power cord and into my pantry. I spread ortho all over my parking pad and put liquid killer on my cord. Haven't seen any in about a month now......it was the chipmunks that did the most damage before I bought my coach. Watch out for those @#$@# things!!!

I used gorilla clear tape and outside leds.....I'd like to rewire this a little differently where the porch light and leds were separate but it turned out okay ......

Yea, I don't think my awning could handle too much weight out on the end like that. I like idea of installing some under the "box" .....I'll give that a shot...I just hope they're bright enough. Thanks

I've had similar problems like that happen on several cranes. It was the wiring harness connection at the ecm. The rubber grommet was kinked on one side allowung moisture to get into the plug........I hope it's something simple like that.

I just replaced all of mine. The light itself comes apart and it takes a #2182 bulb. Just take a toothpick and push in on the sides of the light housing in the little holes.

Everyday I'm working on this or that on this old coach. I want to add some lighting on the automated awning at the base because the little "porch" light just isn't enough when I'm outside grilling. My idea is to add these lights to the switches at the entrance . I also wanted to add some led lights underneath but that's something I'll do later. Have any of you guys added some lights like that ?

The wind meter is the least of my problems. I still have plenty of "to do" projects on this old girl. I just like all the gadgets to work like they should......maybe it's my OCD kicking in again. Just like the tv antenna. I will probably never use it because I always stream tv but, since it's there......I'd like for it to work.

I was moving my coach over the weekend and hit a low hanging tree branch. Once I arrived at the park I made an inspection of the roof and I tore off two of the anno/wind meter cups for my girard awning sensor. I replaced the cups but the sensor itself dosent seem to want to spin as easily as it did before. Has anyone tried to open one of these up and see if any parts are replaceable or not? I can't seem to find much info on them. I can however find a 200 dollar replacement.

Looks like the same as mine ....model 100-2s. Google Aquahot 100-2s manual and a pdf file will be one of your first results. And yes, you have to be quite flexable to get in there, do you have access to the side of the unit from the compartment next to it? The first thing you need to check is the water level. The rad cap is in the center on the top of the unit and even if your resevoir is full, your tank may not be.....
