A few months ago I started seeing a drip from under the bay where my Aqua Hot System is located. Cannot see where it is coming from. Any tips on searching or known issues. 2006 Camelot. Thanks all!

Used mine this winter on the road. When switched, the light stayed on constantly. I have a small 6X6 heater in the wet bay. Left it on for cold days and nights. never froze up. The bays stayed fairly warm though with the furnace heat. The system heat was a great "just in case" element for me.

I have a similar issue. Very interested to see if it is the governor.

The heat pump stops around 35. There is a temperature switch on it. We track temperature lows. If they go below 40 then we turn all zones to furnace. We also make sure it is Diesel furnace since my electric is weak (2006 -Older unit). With mine (only 2 zones) both zones have to be furnace for the furnace to work. If one is heat pump it will not kick on. Also a brief note. There is a tilt sensor. If the coach tilts too much the furnace will cut off. Another note. with furnace the air doesn't circulate the same. So the wall sensors read odd numbers. I sleep with one unit set at 71 and the other 68. It evens out to around 70-72 in the whole coach. Just something to note. You should play with the controller a bit to find your number.

I use an app on the phone called Allstays. I've been very happy with it. It has all walmarts, sam's clubs, cracker barrels, RV dump stations, Campsites and loads more. Interesting to see most everyone drives during the day. While I have enjoyed seeing the country during the day. Most of my long drives are between 7pm and 3am. I stop about 2-4 hours for a break. Way fewer cars at night and always a surprise when the sun comes up on a new location in the morning. I'm a tad different since I ride with the wife, 4 kids and a 75lb Boxer. It's a quieter drive at night. Just wrapped a 12K mile round trip across the US with them. Great way to spend time with family. Time in the seat all depends on: - Roads (wide and straight or small and windy) - Construction (10 feet wide with 4 feet concrete barriers on each side goes white knuckle after 20 miles of it) - Traffic - Animals (Yes. Lots of animals like the night. Besides me, of course) - Schedule (Gotta make that special once a year Pow Wow) - Fatigue (Did you just hike the entire Big Obsidian Flow in Oregon? And THEN decided to go to southern California?) - Don't forget the crazy factor (Mine is very high) Highly individual. Biggest thing is stay safe! No trip is worth a life. But every trip is a life's worth.

Cliff918, Makes complete sense. Speaker technology is light-years ahead of the 2002 speakers. I'm working now to replace all speakers, reposition the sub-woofer, add a new source (Head unit for TV), and streamline the wiring. Tracing and bypassing the Aladdin system is a bit of a chore but I'll live.

California imposing regulations that inhibit individual freedoms to benefit "The Environment". The result being increased cost and California only vehicle standards. Also, a forced increase of the use of raw materials that pose cascading harm to the environment, i.e. Li-ion production. That never happens. I'm SHOCKED! I vote we keep California policies in California. P.S. LI-ion batteries are Awesome but come at a risk on the mining side (not a subject of this legislation). Trade-offs are a rule of life.

Understand the confusion. The switch that is working is the switch directly on the generator. I checked this one just to make sure there was not an internal problem in the generator. Both lights in side are out. Thank you for the heads up on switch. Will grab a new one and replace. Hopefully that will be the end of it. The timing of the Pump light was coincidence. If not still odd.

I like the corvette scheme. Opens multiple ideas for sure.I'm currently build my Toad and here is the path for it. It's still flexible. So understanding the heat of colors aspect is helpful.

- No connection between the two. Great. - Not a multiplex system. - Checked the plug at the gen and it was in good shape. Worked on it briefly. no change. - Still working on the pump light - Wondering if the dashlight/switch going out broke the circuit and the second light will not work until the dash light is fixed. The light on the switch on the gen works as expected. Being an 06 the light burning out makes sense to me and was not a surprise. do I have to change out the switch? Or can i change the light without changing the switch? Thoughts?

Last month the light that indicates if the generator is on stopped working. This happened on the dash button, as well as, the control center light. At this same time the pump indication light in the bathroom stopped working. I purchased a new light and tested it for the gen and pump. But neither work. Oddly, the indication light for the pump at the control center works. I have two questions here. - is it coincidence or are these things linked? - Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Understanding "typical" Construction that concrete support would have a foundation under it with rebar or similar to connect the two. an 18K lb reduction isn't too bad. shifting the upper section make more sense. Your other engineering marvel is ridiculous. It's why I stopped being an engineer and moved to another career. I'm just a "good" engineer. It's only worth hiring "great" engineers. I hadn't thought about the insurance concern but very true. Would figure the railroad carries some sort of insurance to cover that end. However, with insurance liking to go after the "Guilty" party your concern remains valid.

Highly unfortunate for the driver. I'm glad he came away with minor injuries as that is a nasty hit. It is highly fortunate there was no passenger as that looks to have disappeared. Wish him and his family the best on this one. A clear reminder to keep my eyes on the road.

Curious if anyone out there has a front hubcap. one of the fronts popped off my 2006 Camelot around Indiana. Looking for something to replace it.

I was looking at all of the paint schemes out there. There are a lot. Experience from building cars has shown me that there are two specific things when it comes to paint: 1) looks - Making the vehicle look HOT 2) efficiency - Making the car not be hot. My current paint is aging and the clear at the top edges is flaking. As you can see I have a fortunate middle of the road tan/gold. Even with the whit top the sun can bake you inside without the AC or a good breeze. Dark color schemes look awesome but as many in the southwest know lighter color paint can fend off the heat of the sun. Darker colors look better on these large vehicles but I'm concerned about midday heat in the summer. I noticed a lot of the current 5th wheels are white with black graphics. Same reason? I'm curious to hear from anyone that has changed colors and noticed a significant difference. I'm also curious to hear why coaches began the swirls and Hurricane graphics. More than just breaking up the size? I'm personally leaning to laying down a retro 70's candy and lace job on the bus and bring back those psychedelic colors. Would it be HOT or just hot?

Don't want to hijack the thread but push a bit more. I've got an 06 Camelot and have been wondering what are good system upgrades as things age out? What key upgrades should be done to the electronics and other controls to make the coach, not necessarily more modern, but more COMFORTABLE. Not just maintenance. Thoughts? Also. +1 on rambler07! Get a PM and/or OIL test. You don't really know what the prior owner did in the coach and starting maintenance right is a good measure. Had Cummins do a full check on my coach and then a PM. Found a few interesting items to note.

Check out Mobilemusthave.com I run their Road warrior bundle with two services in the router (ATT and T mobile). The signal is great and allows to pull in wifi connections. Also allow a single point connection fulltime. Good systems. Price feels expensive at first but good hardware and service is top notch.

Like Tom Wallis. I would leave heat on low. The loss of a couple of gallons of diesel is trivial compared to a broken system. Just my 2 cents

I found getting the AC unit up is the easy part. Getting the old one down without chucking it off the top is more difficult. A ladder and the box helps. Don't take it out till you're on the roof.

i know where the Diagnostic button is but don't know how to use it. Will have to look that one up. Good idea.
