  1. The air intake goes directly into the air filter box thats visible in your picture, to the right of the power cord.
  2. I’ve drilled a small hole in the metal window frame in a position that allows a wire, like a coat hanger, to be pushed in where it pushes on the latch. I’ve done this on the window right beside the door. You can then reach in to activate the deadbolt or door handle, or if necessary climb in onto the passenger seat.
  3. You will not harm the air bags by allowing them to deflate. Extending the jacks for long periods exposes the cylinder to weathering which could cause issues. Have you ever seen a motorhome on jacks in a dealer lot? Those units are sometimes there for a year or more.
  4. I had this exact situation happen to me a few year’s ago after parking the rig for 2 months. I attempted to use the engine torque to release the rusted brakes. What broke loose was my rear end. That cost me $4200 plus towing costs. If you use engine power be gentle, diesel engines have a lot of torque. Before towing, the mechanic freed the brakes with a pry bar so they weren’t even stuck as badly as yours.
  5. It looks like you have the original Iota transfer switch. You may want to replace that before installing the new reel. There’s plenty of info on this site regarding the need to replace it, as they were recalled years ago and present a fire hazard.
  6. Had same issue with remote unable to start generator. Simple fix was to raise my start voltage from 12 to 12.2, yours is already 12.2, try going higher to see if that is the issue.
  7. You are way over thinking this. When you plug in to 30A your Intellitec will automatically recognize it, and indicate so (it doesn’t show current use when plugged into 50A). As you use power the Intellitec will show current being used and what isn’t powered based on available current. The Front AC light will likely go out on the panel and automatically prevent it from starting. While you’re using power for the microwave for example the Washer/dryer light will go out and prevent that being used. Experiment with your power use to see what you are currently using, based on readout on Intellitec. If necessary switch water heater and furnace to propane. The only breaker that may trip during this process is your pedestal breaker, simply go outside and reset it.
  8. I had similar reservations about the Samsung reliability and the last thing I wanted was to be on the road somewhere looking for someone to fix my fridge. After much research I went with a Fisher Paykel fridge. They are considerably more expensive but have excellent reviews. I have had a Fisher Paykel dishwasher in our home for 12 years. The french door counter depth model with icemaker fit great. It works fine on the modified sine wave inverter. One simple modification was building a new plywood base an inch lower just above the furnace.
  9. I’ve got an 06 Knight and my fuses are in the closet beside the 120 volt panel
  10. From the cargo bay next to the HW tank there is a small access door to the HW bypass valve
  11. Our 06 Monaco Knight does not charge chasis batteries while on shore power. We have a Battery Tender maintainer connected for charging. Murray
