Okay I have another question regarding the inverter. I was heading out to have a slow leak tire looked at before leaving tomorrow. I was plugged into shore power for months. the inverter is on I unplug shore power and GFI pops in about 5-seconds. reset pops again. reset and I check volt meter and it says 104 volts n pops I start rig engine, reset GFI and it reads 105 n 106 but the GFI "doesn't" pop House batteries I keep full and are only 4-months old Other than the fridge the only thing I see on is the microwave timer I started the genny and it looks like I'm pulling 1-2 amps Kind of lost here, any suggestions Thanks

I also have a large Dometic fridge/freezer I keep below. Going to pull our boat to the river next week, it only takes about 3 1/2 hours. I'll plug in the Dometic and get it cold so it doesn't pull a lot of amps on start up. I'll run everything on the inverter and see how it goes. I'll keep my beer in the ice chest just in case. Thanks again for all the advice. safe travels!!!

my inverter is the Magnum 2000 watt. turning off the power is what I have been doing, and that's because I just didn't know. The only thing running while driving I am assuming is the fridge or anything plugged in. yes that is the model.. is that enough power? so if o show the 114 plus that means the fridge has enough juice going to it correct? don't want to damage a new fridge

I did install a new Samsung FR18, seems to be the norm for the most part. Regarding the inverter, I was under the understanding that was used to power thing when neither shore power or generator was on. I have a digital meter on an outlet that shows volts in when I'm on the inverter, i am assuming that is enough for the fridge or I am I not understanding correctly.

Okay I have never really found a definitive answer on the following questions, hopefully you electrical guru's can straighten me out once and for all on whether electrical damage can occur. SENARIOS: 1. Plugged into shore power or portable genny. If I turn on the coach generator can electrical damage occur, since I am getting power from both sources. or in reverse, if I have the coach genny going can I plug into shore power to prevent an interruption or damage to the coach or genny. 2. If I am plugged into shore power, can I switch the inverter to on and not have an electrical issue, (I don't want my res fridge to go off) 3. Is it a good idea/or necessary to run a second inverter for the fridge. I have whatever came with my 07 HR, is that enough. I installed a new res fridge and have only used it once. I just put in new coach batts. hoping this is enough. My biggest worries are questions 1 and 2, there are so many different opinions on this. I'd really like to know so I don't cause damage and two, so I can bet the next guy a beer. Thanks,

I would think since it has its own axle and it is towed, and, can be towed alone that it would be triple towing. Some states allow triple towing without a special license others don't.

They look like my fan blade weights. They r spaced apart so u can cut one off at a time to balance the fan

Awning and Step Cover Questions - 2007 Camelot
Gweedo replied to FishAR's topic in Body, Awning, Roof, Slides, & Steps
Yes it was #14 gauge. So hollowed out the plug a bit because knucklehead me cut the wires all the same. I should’ve cut different lengths to prevent the bulge. Anyhow I used the black stretch tape n the original plug n cap. Worked great. -
Awning and Step Cover Questions - 2007 Camelot

On my 07HR I found mine extended one morning. No question motor gave way, so prior to replacing I checked voltage. Great from the switch but not at motor. Connections dirty through wall cut and made new connections n volts good to motor. Sealed the end cap. -
awesome thnx He said he wouldn't worry about the bags yet. but he does have them in stock

I'll have to check into the Watts, but I am glad I went with the large shocks on front, no bounce and bumps on the road are way less noticeable. As a trained driving instructor for low/high speeds in vehicles, I'm curious what the watts and other enhancements can do for the rig. thanks for the info.

I have the 88R8, last spring I replaced the 4 front shocks with the larger Bilstein's, (depending on the type of top connection you have, you can go with the larger) my ride was significantly improved. Just this week I corresponded with Jim at Source Engineering (regarding airbags, didn't know if I should replace them or not because of age only) and I will be ordering the rears shocks, I am considering his ride enhancement kit. If I remember correctly he work for Monaco for 10-11 years. He tunes the shocks for your specific rig.

Perhaps I'll just read a book. LMAO, Thnx for the input.

This topic becomes confusing very easily. I understand dish will not work with Winegard if the rig is built before 2014, mine is an 07. I currently have Starlink at home, I heard Starlink allowed roaming, but now charges $25 for an RV. Then I heard now you have to get a separate system for the RV. I have not contacted Starlink yet. I can say it works great at home. I'll need to do something in the next few months because we'll be leaving for a 60-90 day trip. Can anyone clarify, Does Starlink require a separate system? Has Winegard made an update for the older Winegards? It seems to me that long term Starlink with streaming is probably the safer way to go. Thanks

Water tank cleaning and refreshing 100 gallons
Gweedo replied to mitchellg2241's topic in Water Systems
I used PUROGENE and went through the hose reel because I don't know if I have an access. I mixed the solution in a 5-gallon bucket and used a submergible pump which has a hose fitting. Then I ran clean water through the reel right away to clean the hose. -

2007 Camelot Basement / Bin Doors
Gweedo replied to bandmmorris's topic in Body, Awning, Roof, Slides, & Steps
check your local body shops, I looked at salvage for one of my small doors, $800. the body shop had the door skinned and painted for less money. just a thought. -
Fuel Economy Decrease
Gweedo replied to bandmmorris's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
there is a "Turbo air control valve" that sits on top of the valve cover right below the engine cover. that vale has an air line that goes to the turbo, make certain that is connected. -

That is correct, the extreme is every 6k miles. Yes I use the EDT (everyday treatment) on every fill up, boosts the Cetane up. I also use there Stiction with my oil changes. Runs awesome. I don't think DEF has any effects, but you would need to look at their wen site. I'm pretty certain it says all diesels, my buddy run the EDT in his 2022 pickup I also run it in my 2018 ram diesel and my 2021 jeep diesel. both have DEF.
