  1. Oh boy........... our house was flooded a year ago last Nov, might be ready by March !
  2. For some reason the sliding door which affixes to the toilet has managed to make a bid for freedom. The roller unit which hangs on the rear [exterior wall] side of the toilet wall has broken. Not a good pic but hope you can see. Are there replacements or is the best bet to safety wire it back together? 2004 Safari Cheetah
  3. LMAO ?? Antelope Valley College. Most Wednesday nights. Welcome.
  4. If it is only one speaker it is unlikely to be emf etc [in my humble opinion].......... if the pitch of the 'buzz' does not rise or fall with rpm, likely a blown speaker or a mousey got your wires. As suggested, move or swap wires to another speaker.
  5. As a working musician I must admit I thoroughly dislike the RV outside entertainment units. Last thing I want to hear is music, especially someone else's. Even worse the hooting which goes with sports. Most people don't realise they have the volume set too high.
  6. My wife has NO hobbies etc........... I can assure that is worse.
  7. While having the front end looked at I went in the pit with the tech and looked at the panel which had moved. Quite the revelation, there were hinges at the top of it [not readily seen from a straight on view] and brackets at the bottom to keep it closed [which had come loose]. Nothing to see underneath so I will presume for now there is a tank in there and perhaps the way into the tank for repairs is via this panel. Remove the brackets and lift up. Noting in print to suggest such. ;-))). One learns.......... I'll know in a few days when I get under the beast.
  8. I know Tom posted something about front end bushing etc , but the 'lists' don't seem to conform to 'dates'........ anyway, thanks for the help. I called Source spoke to Jim......... my he is no PR guy đŸ¤£.......... however, he told me. I BUILT THOSE COACHES and they have 1 million mile bushings in them and were not the problem........ as a customer on both ends, what do I know. Source had a 'front end replacement 2004-2015'. I suggest that. NO, you just need the bags etc. I'm confused, they work just fine, it's the clonk on braking etc which concerns me.......... sure would like the complete front end $2500. So I have given my rv guy the source number and will leave those guys to sort it out.
  9. Hi Folks, Tom, This shop is known among rv'ers in this part of the world and owner had. coach like mine etc. I'll contact Ji m or Scott. I did search bushings, did not see what I was looking for. Thanks all.
  10. Hi All. I have knocks etc and my tech suggests I need new bushings........... hopefully you can see the pictures of the arms in the front... ot sure what they are called........ where might I get the rubber bushings? 2004 Safari Cheetah
  11. << it is a real white knuckle drive at times. I live on a dirt road and I can move the wheel several inches in either direction without changing direction while driving 15-20mph.>>. I also have a constant need to correct by a considerable amount, in high winds the steering wheel can be turned 90 degrees to keep the unit straight. I'm taking it back to a front end guy on Monday since he gave it the all clear a few months back.
  12. Thanks all. If it is working seems I have the electric core heater...........
  13. OK I admit to ignorance. how does Aqua-hot heat the engine? L
  14. Hi Harry. I believe I have the basic coach ;-)). When I bought it I read somewhere about a 'heater' can't find the print anywhere......... yes I have a dangling cord, will plug in today to see if it works.
  15. I'm no doubt in the wrong place, sorry. Also didn't see any headings as per this Q. 2004 Cheetah. I see the cable in the rear bay for the sump heater........ looked in the manual and did not find out where the switch is to switch it on. Where is it please? Les
  16. Thanks. I have to try and find a Monaco glass fitter locally, seems there might be one in Chino..... such a hassle ;-))
  17. Hi Ray, thank you but I didn't find a video. Whatever it is I don't think I would spend the money. My Cheetah is a split windshield. L
  18. Anyone hd any experience with https://www.thepaintdepartment.com. seems they have rebuilt the front caps for Monaco's ?
  19. Hi Tom, Thanks for the help. The previous owner had 'Source' trailing arms installed and a local front end shop in Victorville qualified they were good, airbags are go etc........... he wont do much else, but had Monaco so knows where to look. I believe I finally got the airbag issue sorted, but that sake for few words I will tell you what I did It was looking like the issue was the voltage even though manufacturers said it didn't matter. I've moved my rig around my yard a lot these past weeks.......... story far too long to tell........... and I test various things as I bumped the air. The front was always ok. The last the rears wouldn't I got a small 12v batt., hooked them up applied the 12v. whoosh...... down they went so I also figured 12v is it. Anyway, I kept trying with the set up as it is. Changed the cables etc just wouldn't work. So, as you said, I tried to check the voltage at the switch.... ha !!......... I tried to remove the top panel, that was going to break, so I undid the side panel and looked up toward the switch........ the screws holding the panel on were very long. The seat and steering wheel had been placed in a position where my gut was not to be accommodated. Also every wire was white, if there were numbers too small for me to read.......... so I left the panel off in disgust, had to move the coach again.......... thought ! Got my wife to press the dump switch while I was at the back to 'see'....... it all worked perfectly and so far is ongoing........ my only non tech thought issue I a screw might be t maybe @! one of the long screw holding the panel in had chewed through a wire a tad and was causing mischief. The next few weeks will tell a tale. In the mean time I keep the small 12v in the batt hold along with the harness I made and if else fails I'll use that. Also, I'm still working 50-60 hours per week and a drive to Oregon would be difficult, is there anyone in California re windshields?
  20. Hi Bill, Not yet.......... I only noticed a day or so before I left for overseas... I'm in the UK. Will find a way to look when I get back............ I drove it about 200 miles as is and it seemed ok.
  21. Hi. I just watched a video and was astonished to see a windshield installer wiping new shield in a circular motion....... bahhhhhhh. ONLY up and down. Those of us who fly know to clean windshields vertically so any scratches you have there is less chance of 'catching' unwanted sunlight rays. Someone wrote about Loving Monaco's. I'm new to such aND really like mine but reading these forums makes me wonder sometimes, why are they SO 'problem prone'? So far no one has come up with an idea for my 'split body' issue........ I'll find out and let ya'LL know.
  22. My issue was going to down a dirt road which was uneven and I suspect going round a sharp corner didn't help. VERY slowly. Oh well
