I had led in the Southwind bathroom, they all crumbled.

OK, done my best to do as advised......... took batt which had most liquid excess on it to dealer......... he thinks it may have overcharged, but is ok since it is holding 6.7. as are the others and not bulging. Cleaned all the tops up, Made a stick to check levels etc they were pretty consistent. I read the manual, it mentions overcharging but not how or why, I tried the dreaded salesman switch, seems to work, a little click and 'action' or not. No matter what I try the simple fact is the house batteries have to be 'on' all the time while connected to shore power [or did miss page 1000.] I can't find anything in the manual about 'charging'. Where do I see, how do I know the house Batts are not being overcharged? Slightly different topic........... are there battery trays for the purchase of, or must one make one......... how;-)) Thanks. Oh silly me, to think I was looking for a switch which said 'salesman'......... I did find the battery switch and fail to see [in my case] how anyone could bump it etc............. anyway, oh to be skinny 😉 Thanks for the help

I have 2004 Cheetah............ the faucet [ooposie the toilet and the toile t have a 3 bulb overhead system. I enclose a pic of the bulb in question.............. can't find a store nearby which carries them, online???......... or if anyone knows where to get them [please]. L

We just had a hurricane and earthquake so yes, but the moho is un a 3 sided shed and I didn't see any other water in the bay. On of the batts certainly has other goop' on it which looks like grease...... I'll check at the w/e. I might add a personal note, since I have had this moho it has been to the shop twice, front alignment and wet bearing gasket, other than that it has sat since we have to live in it until our speedy contractor finishes the house. L

Yes, life got in the way. Namely a flooded house and a few other silly little life things... lousy contractor, doctors, even at 80 long hours of WORK etc. I actually looked at the manual today re batteries [way too much tech which means nothing to folks like me........ ask me about audio and music, I'm your guy]. It was interesting, the removable tray for the batteries isn't there and all of the inverter info doesn't add up to that which is on the panel, nothing which shows or goes to 'standby' . Also, last night the tops of the batts were dry again........... mind you, these look like the cheapest from O'Rielly........ I plan on getting them cleaned up and levels checked this next Sat. I read on some other website Interstate were not recommended [JD Power] maybe I'll hang on for the solid state stuff. Thanks for the help L

definitely punched and bored. Thanks for the input........ interesting thing to me is the surfaces had ben dry and I have not put any liquid in........ I'll know more when I drag the beast out into the mountain air and take a 'look.' I think I have been chastised and ridiculed. Hmmmmm never ever had to moly coddle batteries before, why are Monaco's so different? I wont attempt light hearted banter again I'll maintain the vibe of the list. L

Thanks Tom........... frustrated ;-)) Try working with some music producers or worst still 'artists'........ that's frustration.... especially if a film score and the suit says he wants it to sound more 'green'. Yep, got a switch for that. I will do as you say, In the meantime I have turned them off and will get one checked at the store. L

I have no excuses, but this is a new coach to me and ,my wife and I are going through H**L since our house flooded last Nov and the contractor is a complete flake..... I've even taken some of the jobs away from him which I will do myself...... so I've ignored the coach somewhat.......... I plan to get it all out this w/e and see what is what, L

Thank you... now I'm getting the hebe jeebies........ why would 3 out of 4 batteries all start to leak within a day our so of each other? They are 2 years old and as far as I can see never leaked before. [I'm a dunce with this stuff]. Are they being overcharged? By what? Maybe just a phenom. we just had 110 degree temps etc. I always say I know enough but not enough.

Hi Bob. Unit is 2004 65k 39' long........... did you hve a pit to work in? I'm reluctant to get under the coach even with multi jacks under the chassis.

I've never used such batteries........... do the strips pull off the 'plugs/entrance' to the cells? Now of-course, what is the best to buy? L

After dumping air etc when I start the front jack there is a huge bang......... what is that likely to be please? The backs creak and groan........ ?? L

Hi Folks, Wow, my old Southwind was easy compared to the Monaco's ;-)). When I bought the coach 2004 Cheetah. love most of it] a couple of months back batt's were dusty ie; dry on top. The other day I looked and around the pin [+] there was crud and a small amount of liquid. Don't know if that is acid or distilled water. Either way, what is causing the 'liquid' and might I presume it then causes the crud? Is the batt dying? Just clean it up? What to do? Looking at the picture the lh side indicates there may have been an earlier leak?? What type/kind of batteries are these? Les

As a composer and sound engineer I for one HATE surround sound......... where is the sweet spot? Recently saw Oppenheimer.... destroyed by silly surround sound gags. With respect, also remember if your ears are 'older' and they are not 'matched' you may note issues.... especially the high frees on the woofer !!!!! frees. ooops

in a 2004 cheetah.. is it ok to open out slides eg; 1/2 way?

They have numerous coaches in various stages of 'burned out'. Very helpful people who will ship anywhere.

The fogger process worked quite well. However I read somewhere about making the pipe to the septic/dump tank more like the plumbing in the house. So I put wood under the outlet pipe raising it up [keepong valves closed]. This means there is always a little 'sludge' on the upside. So far no fly onslaught. I also empty out every 2 days.

I have a 2004 cheetah..... don't see any.
