  1. We always tie ours down at the corners using 5 gallon paint cans full of rocks and never leave the area with the awning extended.
  2. O'Rileys saws AW-46 in gallon containers. That's what I have in my 2000 Dynasty.
  3. My insurance is for the amount I asked for. You pay a little more for the premium, but you know you are covered for the true value of the coach. I've been slowly reducing the value over the years. We have Farmers.
  4. Your coach should have come with two slide locks to keep that from happening if the hydraulics fail. Ours came in crooked a couple years ago and I ended up replacing all the hoses and having the synchronizing cylinder and front and rear rams rebuilt. I also relocated the sync cylinder to a more accessible location in the basement overhead. Luckily, the slide didn't get stuck, it just jammed up the inside facia trim around the slide box. While I was reading all the literature about replacing the hoses and rams, I found a short blurb that said you shouldn't reverse the direction of travel without fully extending or retracting the slide. I never knew that.
  5. I didn't hear anything when I found my manifold cracked. I was lubing the PAC brake and saw the black soot on the crack in the smaller of the two manifold pieces.
  6. I've ran a new P/S hose from the hydraulic reservoir in the rear, to the steering gear box and it really wasn't that difficult. It took me about five to six hours and half of that was emptying and removing the ceiling from the basement compartments.
  7. I called REV Parts and they not only supplied the part numbers for two of the front door seals, they were able to provide me with the original seals. Its worth a shot to give them a call. I was surprised by how response they were. https://parts.revgroup.com/store
  8. I replaced the front Penguin 13.5K AC/Heat Pump in 2016 with a Penguin II High Capacity unit and the rear unit in 2021. Both units are quieter than their predecessors, but I still wouldn't call them quiet. I may have actually made a mistake by buying a high capacity unit for the rear because I get condensation on the first two vents when its really humid. The unit puts out a lot of really cold air. I wasn't willing to throw money at a 16 year old unit.
  9. This just started early this AM for me.
  10. Not a Navistar expert, but I believe there were two Maxforce engines in Monaco coaches, one was good and the other not so good, but I'm not sure which was which. I think they were 7 and 10 liters.
