Nevada Rob
Anyone have a name or place that has an RV salvage yard other than Visone? I have already tried them. I am looking for the passenger side fuel bay door on a 2008 Monaco Dynasty.

Dr4Film
Below is a cut&paste from a RVTravel Newsletter that I had saved from 2013. RVing Tip of the Day Save money at RV salvage grave yards by Rene Agredano Old RVs have to die somewhere and most of them do it at RV salvage yards around the U.S. Whether you're restoring a classic Scamp trailer or trying to fix your RV air conditioner, these RV grave yards are the best sources for used parts. Before you turn to the manufacturer of your broken RV part be sure to visit these online directories of used RV parts emporiums:http://www.gypsyjournal.net/RV%20Surplus%20and%20salvage%20outlets.htmlhttp://www.rverscorner.com/rvsalvage.htmlhttp://www.rv.net/obsolete/index.cfm?action=group&groupid=1 The power of the Internet means you don't even have to physically visit the RV grave yard to acquire your part. Many of these suppliers will fulfill search requests, including http://www.paramountautobody.com/reno-nevada-used-rv-parts.html, a Reno-based business that carries used RV parts from sinks to awnings. To help expedite your search include accurate measurements and photos of the part you need in your email to the company. If you're lucky enough to be located near a used RV parts supplier be sure to take the old part with you. RV parts often look identical until placed side-by-side. You'll want to wear a hat and sunscreen too since RV salvage yards are usually outdoors. Carrying some hand cleaner in your vehicle will also be useful since you'll be digging around dirty old relics. Once you find the RV part you need you might even have the opportunity to haggle with the owner for a better price. It never hurts to ask for a discount as long as you're respectful. Guest sunriseranch2000
This is a long list I compiled over the years . Posted by: "Bill ODell" 4odell@gmail.com odell072946 Sun Apr 19, 2009 6:15 am (PDT) Hello, just thought I would let you know there is a large RV salvage yard around Joplin, Mo. I don't know the name of it but you can see it when you pass by on I-44. I would bet you could find a door there. Bill O. Re: Motor for Kool-o-Matic kichen exhaust fan Posted by: "tmvbutler" 2tmb@earthlink.net tmvbutler Fri May 29, 2009 1:11 pm (PDT) I am going to post this again. I put it in another post. There are numerous salvage yards that specialize in RV's. You can find the listing at: http://www.ccis.com/ /mnemeth/rvsalvage.htmIt is a pretty comprehensive listing with phone numbers, and specialties if any. Many of these ship and my experience is that if something they ship is defective or incorrect they'll replace it. I am familiar with the one in Carthage, MO. They have supplied back-up camera for a friends motor home and replaced it when the first one wouldn't work. I understand they are pretty interesting places to visit just to walk around and see the wreckage/fire damage Have you called RV salvage yards?
