  1. Similar story, I replaced my OE with the Remco Power RV Series Aquajet 5.3 mine did not have an accumulator tank. I too could not get parts for the old leaking one. I installed w/o a check valve. Loop hoses as it was. I will tell you this these pumps are rated potable drinking water safe because they have orings and diaphrams made of different material than a typical general purpose agricultural pumps which are less expensive. Others I’m told can get bacteria and other not so friendly growth on them. That’s why the correct pumps say drinking water safe or potable water safe. To get the warranty you have to purchase from their sellers like CW and other rv centers. Best price believe it or not was at CW, I purchased in FL $224.00
  2. Measure the overall diameter of your wheel, divide in half for the radius. Find the centerline of your tire footprint then measure out using the radius number you got and measure out how far it will turn.
  3. I know about expensive pain, your knowledgable and I hope this is all behind you. Sometimes you wonder if it’s all worth it.
  4. Thanks Robert for letting everyone know your decision, not everyone does that.
  5. You might try calling Josam Frame and Alignment in Orlando. Mike Z here on the forum (Zmotorsprts) might be able to give some info. I too would like to have more stopping ability.
  6. Me too. I also put a small dedicated PSW inverter in for the frig. I’ve had two res frig fail after about 5 yrs. that could be blamed on the MSW. I’m with you on that. Run the generator.
  7. So these last two grease examples I assume do not have a clay base? I often wondered about the red based stuff.

There is a way to listen to the audio too on your phone but without the video you don’t get the full experience. I’ll try to paste the link for those who don’t want to Zoom.

  18. Those straps may have to be custom fitted to your slide. It depends where exactly the clips are on the side of the slide. The straps may need to be tweaked some to get the tension were you need it, especially if you have more than one strap or else you’ll have one strap doing more of the work.
  19. This past yr I had a shop look at my front end because of vibration at moderate to hard braking. The shoes looked really good they said but suggested replacing all the drums because they showed signs of heat cracks. I ask all the questions on how they could tell that with the drums on and they said experience tells them that. So they were pulling the fronts anyway for repacking the bearings. He said they would know more when they were pulled. They called and said the drums were within DOT specs as far as cracks and being round and said it was my call. I elected to put them back on and adjust all slack adjusters.
