  1. Tire Safe Guard, coach and towed, no booster needed. No issues, customizable parameters, user replaceable batteries. Mostly marketing sells these devices IMO.
  2. I’m finding that many experience this and is somewhat common and some have had success with fluid and filters change, and some no so much. I have the filters but here is my question, with it being the old Sheppard unit would it present this noise, and if I would have to change the steering pump soon after changing the fluid will I again have to change that fluid?

On first start up of the day on my ‘02 Windsor 40 my power steering is a little jerky in both directions and also has a what I’m calling a hydraulic hissing when turning the wheel in either direction. Both get much better after warming up from driving. I plan on starting with changing the fluid and filters in the fluid reservoir. Any particular things I can check or have checked out?
  4. Boy they sure did, I made mention of that in another thread. I’m new to the Monaco. That was something that stood out to me.
  5. Oh yeah I’m already changing out all the lights to LED’s I did that on the other mh and installed a 100w panel to maintain the batteries which does a great job, next came the refrigerator. So kinda doing the same thing here except for the frig, other than they didn’t complete the install properly. Learning all the new systems.
  6. On our new to us 02 Windsor 40PST it has a raised platform slide on the right side, well currently it has nothing on it. It probably came with a custom designed J Lounge of some type? I’m assuming that J Lounge had ducts running under it and out thru the front, supply and maybe a return? So what do some of you have if not the original sofa? I don’t think just any sofa will work there because you will sit up too high and your feet won’t reach the floor. We plan on putting a fireplace credenza in that slide and put the tv on top but not sure. Let’s see some of your pictures and challenges if you put another sofa on it. We have a love seat recliner on the drivers side slide which is smaller than I like.
  7. Compared to my other mh I have more. Not a big deal I just have to train someone else more. Those must of been a big problem for everyone that’s for sure.
  8. Thanks everyone I’ll see what I end up doing about that. It’s a big coach with a lot of 12V accessories, it’s easy to leave something on. It’s not on my short list yet.
  9. Yes!! That’s why it only has the one post, they just took it a step further. So what is it that it fails regularly? I really would like to have that switch operable because I’m so use to having one?
  10. PO? Previous Owner Yes! I assume so. That’s what you need to do to bypass the disconnect switch I assume. I don’t know though there is only 1 post.

  13. You sure did, sorry I had forgotten or got distracted with other posts I guess. 👍 Looking closer at that photo above it appears that there is a purple wire taped off to the side, that might be for the disconnect switch?
  14. I wondered about that because of your second photo otherwise you wouldn’t have taken that photo, and the way it’s called out on the diagram it did say disconnect. I was looking for what looked like a solenoid the other really didn’t look like one that I would recognize. This is it here?

  16. Ok thanks guys. I’m home today down with back actually been pushing it too much the last week. So it may have been bypassed already and that’s why it doesn’t work?

  18. I don’t know if it failed before because I’ve only owned about two weeks now. I’m going thru some things that aren’t working. I do have a manual with the schematic that’s where I took the pic in the first post.

  20. So you guys are not wanting a House Disconnect switch at all? I like them especially on this knew coach, the wife will inevitably leave something on! Why do they fail so often?
  21. I know I remember that happening but didn’t want to mention that here🥴when I was looking at Windsor’s I was surprised how many still had those in them. I wanted the floor plan that would allow the removal and replacement of the POS 1200. The rig I purchase already had it done but they didn't finish the job correctly. Didn’t insulate and block off the wall vent access panel or the roof vent and didn’t plug it into the inverter. Glad I’ve been thru this and knew what to look for.

  23. Nice. Have you by chance replaced any of your switches? I just ordered 6 new of the red indicator lights most of which for the wtr pump. But the switches are small and will take awhile to get use to there locations. Bezels are old and brittle too.
  24. Perfect thanks that’s the other place I was going to look. I hear nothing when I turn it on or off. In my other coach it was a distinct clunk.
