  1. I would walk into any flooring Co. Try those big Tile discounters. Floor & Decor
  2. Tom thank you for that in depth explanation, the axle counter technology makes sense if it’s accurate. I would think it is before they put it out. Open Roads just sent out their news letter mentioning a new toll provider Innovative Toll Solutions, that they are teamed up with in some fashion. That’s a no thank you for me at $24 yr.
  3. It all depends on road conditions. Flat highway with very little if any hills, maybe no headwinds all makes a big difference, but the 13 with the towed seems really hard to achieve. 🤷
  4. It must take a pic front and rear to know your towing your car. I guess it shouldn’t matter how it does it as long as it gets it right. Because of the fluke issues I had it caused me to ask how it works. Another weird thing is my recent invoice in IL only showed my travel north at $9.15. I never received anything for travel back south 5 days later. So you have what they call the SunPass Mini. But what is it charging you for towing the truck with your 3 axle coach?
  5. No it’s a SunPass Mini and there is no axle count on the form. Not one of the two people I spoke to at SP told me I could only have one license plate assigned to it. I have two plates registered to it that is the problem. At the time I purchased it in FL in 2020 I didn’t know any better. I have two plates listed in my profile which it shouldn’t allowed me to do with the mini. Anyway I’ll get it straightened out.
  6. Ok here’s the thing I haven’t seen the answer to. If I have one of these multi state transponders on the windshield of the mh and I’m towing my car which is 4’ behind me how does it know that the car is there? I’ve been getting hit with a 5 axle charge. What if I’m driving the mh with no towed, how does it know the difference? IL and FL wants me to send a copy of my registration I guess to determine how many axles it has.
  7. Hey that’s a good link it should help everyone, thanks.
  8. I appreciate Everyone’s input and personal experiences on this topic. I’m in no need currently but am looking to the future. I live in MO and we don’t have any tolls here that I can choose something from here at home. Future travel to the southeast.
  9. UniPass Video, they seem to have dealt with many different ones. Can purchase on AMZ.
  10. Yes maybe so. The original purchase while wintering in FL was just for the car and it worked well. So it seems that being I have the mh plate and the towed plate both tied to the SunPass the plate gets gets a pic taken and goes back to the SunnPass even in IL? It’s the 5 axle charge that’s off. So I want to find out then am I getting a charge by plate rate?
  11. Let us know how those seals work out, especially for me the door seals. Is their pricing any better than Steele?
  12. Well I have a SunPass and it’s on the car windshield and it’s the sticker style pass. I got a receipt from SunPass after going to WI thru IL. I was surprised it worked up there. Keep in mind it’s on the car. My bill showed 5 axles. I do have the mh tied to the SunPass as one of the vehicles. SunPass told me originally the pass I had shouldn’t have worked up there because of the type of pass it was. I had the same issue of being charge for 5 axles in FL on the most northern leg of the Suncoast Hwy north of 50 up to 44 in FL. Anyway I guess IL did a charge by plate and I was told by SunPass to get that to register as a 2 axle mh I would have to send them a copy of my registration. Too much BS! Looking for something easier.
  13. Do you have a UNI Pass good in 17 states? How do you like it and how does it work when towing your car? Looking for some likes dislikes and whatever info is good to know.
  14. Unload some of the clothes and reposition the load some. If it’s not that, take all the clothes out and see how it acts empty.
  15. Bob and Richard are correct. They will unless someone wired it differently. I just installed 200w of solar with a controller using the pre wired house setup and it’s wire to charge the batteries regardless on the battery switch selection. If you have a controller it is highly advised to always disconnect the solar feed to the controller before doing anything with the batteries. The controller needs to see voltage from the batteries before turning on the solar array. I installed a breaker disconnect before the controller to help manage that. The photos below is from my Windsor as is what Bob is talking about. I got the same info from Jacwjames when I was tracing down the wires for solar.
  16. What type of battery are they? Is your camping style one that would benefit from Lithium?
  17. Start your accelerating on the on ramp as soon as you can to get it going. I thought you were complaining about hills.
  18. That mpg seems very high. 7.5-9+ is what I get. I down shift manually when I need to.
  19. How do you open these files I never can open these on my iPhone.
  20. Jim try to stop by the Meteor Crater in AZ not to far from Williams. Plenty of room for the rig.
  21. Shouldn't take a stiff bristle with a good soap. If the algae is dried on let it sit wet with the soap for a while.
