  1. Inside is more important to me during the hot summer than in the winter. Like I said buy a small quiet inverter gen if you live close enough to go charge them every 3 weeks let’s say. Hook up thru your shore power plug. If so check on whether you should drive a ground rod into the ground for the gen.
  2. Yes especially if your needing power, and dump.
  3. They can only give you their opinion at the time of inspection. Really who’s going to put them self out there?
  4. Has any used 303 on their roof after cleaning the roof? I’ve used the Top Side paint on a different mh but only where the paint clear and color had aged terribly.
  5. I will, but I’m charging on solar currently so I didn’t bother but yes I should being I’m trying to get familiar with it.
  6. Yep it worked out great for a stop over and WAYYYY better than the crappy CG we stayed at going north for the night off 39 and $18 cheaper.
  7. Hey thanks Richard I’ll print that out and keep it near by the controller.
  8. Stayed at the Loves RV Stop in Normal IL junction 55 and 39. This was easy to reserve and execute the check in process. Impressed and with GS discount for a pull thru was $50. You could walk to the Loves store and fuel up with your Open Roads TSD card. Walking trail, fire pit, bbq grill, dog run, I thought it was a good value but pickel ball courts might of been a little waste of money?
  9. Look up NRVC National RV Centers I think they might be in your travel route and I believe their reviews are good around their locations. But are probably high because of their size.
  10. Well I would always opt for indoors if you are willing to spend the money. You may have get creative maybe get a small generator and charge it every 3-4 weeks.
  11. Simple answer is indoors is always better but can be costly. Maintaining batteries could be your challenge if outdoors.
  12. Yes I want at least 225 ah. I don’t want real cheap If I can buy the T-105’ for $165 I would do that without a thought.
  13. Where in the southern states are you thinking, that would get some referrals. Sometimes a reputable one man mobile service might be better, low overhead and no rush to get the job completed under the company’s time frame. Just a thought.
  14. BTW any of you with this Inverter do you feel the battery SOC reading is accurate? I noticed there is no shunt on the battery bank itself but noticed in the manual it is built into the Inverter itself. Wonder how reliable the reading is.
  15. What’s the other FLA on the other furnace? Maybe its wired to the stat to run at a different speed, if it has that ability? Did you check the plenum where the 4” take offs are attached?
  16. I’ve looked at T 105’s but not sure if I want to spend that much. At some point I need to go good enough if I’m getting out in 2-3 yrs. Thanks for the file I’ll certainly look at it.
  17. Ok went to the coach and set the time and checked the setting for the batteries. I’ll be getting new batteries in the spring they are 5 yrs old. I’ll have to change the amp hrs on the bank when I get the new batteries because it is only set for 250ah currently. I cycled thru to the default (push to start) after playing around with it so that turns off any program auto start that was in there. It has always been on the default anyway. Looks like it should work once I get things ready for that operation. I may want the gen to auto start when and if the batteries get down to let’s say 55% while maybe dry camping a night on the rd some time. I installed a dedicated PSW just for the fridg recently and 200w of solar to keep the batteries up during storage. Thanks for everyone’s help.
  18. Yes I found the manual and that’s what I read too about setting the time. I’ll run thru it next time maybe today yet or tomorrow. I’ve never saw a separate module, as Tom thought I had but the RC 7GS panel did seem to be everything I needed just based on the fact it can be started and stopped from it.
  19. It is the RC7GS and I had the manual in the coach, however I don’t seem to be able to bring up the menu it’s asking for. I was at the coach to do other things and didn’t have the time to work on it much. Shouldn’t there be a control wire running to the gen?
  20. Thanks Tom I haven’t found the RC manual yet it might in the mh. I did down load it and I’m looking into it. One give away might be to look for the control wire going to the Inverter port itself. If it’s there which I believe it is I might have it?
  21. I have the OE Xantrex 2000w MSW Inverter/Charger with the Trace control board. There are stickers on the generator warning about the auto start. I can start the gen from the controller board but really never start from there. I don’t see the setup instructions in the manual for the auto start. Is there an additional pc of equipment I’m missing?
  22. That’s interesting my 02 Windsor is just the opposite. I don’t like the rear unit sensing from the 10 button Dometic stat while on cooling because it short cycles, it doesn’t take long for it to satisfy. I’ve tried pointing the vents away from the stat some and has very little affect.
  23. You should probably go over to the Ford Chassis group on IRv2 they would probably be able to help you.
  24. I’ll be darn, yeah I made one for my other rf 18 and then modified it some to work on this new model. These pics are the original. It was burned out of SS on a burn table.
