So these last two grease examples I assume do not have a clay base? I often wondered about the red based stuff.

Ok yes I’ve been using Lucas Red and Tacky but used this the last time has the same rating.

I’ll be watching, my alarm does not work on my ‘02 Windsor. I have not looked for the reason why.

Those straps may have to be custom fitted to your slide. It depends where exactly the clips are on the side of the slide. The straps may need to be tweaked some to get the tension were you need it, especially if you have more than one strap or else you’ll have one strap doing more of the work.

This past yr I had a shop look at my front end because of vibration at moderate to hard braking. The shoes looked really good they said but suggested replacing all the drums because they showed signs of heat cracks. I ask all the questions on how they could tell that with the drums on and they said experience tells them that. So they were pulling the fronts anyway for repacking the bearings. He said they would know more when they were pulled. They called and said the drums were within DOT specs as far as cracks and being round and said it was my call. I elected to put them back on and adjust all slack adjusters.

On my current and last coach I installed LED light strips and just cut the wires and left the ballast in place. I would do it in the summer when the cabin space is warmer for better adhesion to the light fixture. I haven’t experienced any failure of adhesive strips on the LED’s. I choose natural on the color spectrum for the LED’s. You can buy a roll and then extra pigtails to make up your own.

If your going to disconnect the shore pwr I would turn of the breaker instead of unplugging. I’m not saying it’s related to your question but just best practices.
