When he came out, he claims there were little puddles under each steer tire. Says his balancers melted from the excess brake heat! More likely the hub seal. At any rate, you should never be getting your brakes that hot. He should definitely have a truck shop check his brakes for damage. 17 hours ago, Ivan K said: Yeah, same thing except black and mercury balanced. I got them up front. Balance masters are black powder coated vs galvanized. Mercury vs bearing balls. I bought balance masters first for looks, being black behind the front rim but when changing rears, I was in a hurry and could get centramatics for both rear axles overnight at a great price. Because of my proximity to their factory. Balance masters took a week to get back then and are a bit more expensive. They (BM) also have small vents for supposedly cooling the brakes, maybe so...
96 EVO
Ivan, will these balancers block your view of the outer brake rotor?
Ivan K
Ben, I can only see the very outer perimeter of the rotor up front with my rims. Yeah, it pretty much blocks the view.
