Dale n Deb
We have a 2008 HR Endeavor. The emergency air brake is set but it won't allow the haudraulic jacks to go down because it says to engage the air brake. The Air brake is engaged. There is a electric solenoid under the panel by the drivers seat. Could this be bad? The Air brake assembly is Midland. Any suggestions?
klcdenver
Exercise the air brake handle and jiggle it around. Sometimes it doesn’t make a good connection..
MrAmbassador
Dale/Deb, this is a common problem. Please read the attach for the fix by Bob Nodine . The pneumatic switch fails often, this fix works. I had the problem and corrected it in this manner. Wish you the best. https://www.monacoers.org/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=139 Edited May 6, 2022 by MrAmbassador Youths=you the
Bob Jones
Excellent PDF and exploration of the issue. I am surprised that you can't just get a replacement from the heavy-duty trucking industry. I would have thought there would be millions of switches like that in service on the road that could be retrofitted.
Steven P
When mine was doing this, I ordered a replacement Nason parking brake switch online and replaced the defective one and that fixed my issue.
