Interesting, there is a possibility of blockage in the water heater. Does the outside shower have the same flow? Some water heaters have a screen on the inlet side. Hard water will calcify the system. I would try draining the water heater and then flush it. If the flow out of the drain is strong, I would say the obstruction is on the outlet side of the water heater. Wishing the best!

Curiosity about Atwood 2 way HWH working intermittently
MrAmbassador replied to 1nolaguy's topic in Water Systems
My issue was not intermittent, but it turned out to be the control board. Replaced and works just fine. -
Odd fan in inverter compartment - what for?
MrAmbassador replied to Steve P's topic in Chassis, Handling, Tires & Brakes
Just an FYI, that fan runs off the Chassis batteries. So if it runs for a long time, it can run these batteries down and your Coach will not start, unless your inverter charges the Chassis batteries, mine does not. HVe a great day!!! -
Odd fan in inverter compartment - what for?
MrAmbassador replied to Steve P's topic in Chassis, Handling, Tires & Brakes
It is there to keep the compartment flowing with fresh air in an effort to keep the inverter from over heating. When you trace the wires it leads to a thermostat button switch that turns on the fan that draws sir in. The button typically has a number on it that you can google to find our at what temperature it closes and turns on the fan. Hope this helps! Safe travels!!! -
No a/c power to front air conditioner
MrAmbassador replied to Kerry M's topic in Interior & Exterior Care & Renovations
I am not well versed in the Electrical Management System (EMS), but it does distribute loads in order to not trip breakers. There is the possibility that the EMS is faulty 9unless it’s real), meaning it is seeing too much of a load; therefore shedding a load (your front AC) in order to protect the electrical system. This would cause the front AC to not have power. Hopefully, there is someone on the forum that can help you trouble shoot it. Best wishes. -
We don’t use the gas stove top anymore for that same reason. We have two induction burners. They creat much less heat and work fast. We use them in the heat of the day with no heat problems that the ACs can’t take care of.

Front rooftop hvac issues -2007 diplomat
MrAmbassador replied to Coach J's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
Yes sir that is a front temp sensor or zone 1. Aim a hair dryer on it about 10 inches away and see if the AC starts and remains running. -

Agree with the above, low on Freon and shutting down on low evaporator temp (sensor) or front ambient temperature sensor is faulty or air vent blowing on it. Do you have a Dometic 10 button thermostat, if so you can check the inside temperatures in zone 1 and 2. If you are low on Freon you would need to check your running amps to check the load (you will need an amp hook/claw/ring). -
Power Gear Level System issue
MrAmbassador replied to Ted Carbonaro's topic in General Motorhome Discussion
My did it two different times. One the fluid was low. I know you checked it, but I would do it again. The oil is finicky when it comes to temperature. The second time was when the Parking Brake was not sending a signal that it has been released. I ended up having to change the air brake switch. I upgraded it to a redesigned switch that I found online. Hope this helps. -
Carefree Slide Topper Lost Tension
MrAmbassador replied to Chris Leedle's topic in Body, Awning, Roof, Slides, & Steps
The Carefree website has a number maintenance files on their products. Before you go the route of purchasing a spring I suggest taking the end cap off. Turn the shaft (counter clock wise, I used a small pipe wrench) and see if it is creating tension. If so the spring is fine. Like on mine the rotation stop was warn out on the end cap. I built up the stop by drilling it and inserting a bolt in it. Now the rotation stops and holds tension. If not, check to see if the rivets are not sheared off. The are located on the end where you turned the shaft on the outer circumference. If the are fine go onto the spring. Hope this helps. ja -
Hello Bill, just out of curiosity, have you changed out the primary and secondary fuel filters? I had exactly what you are going through happen to me. Fortunately, I changed out these filters (I filled them with Diesel first) and thank the Lord it all got back to normal. Obviously the lack of fuel makes the Turbo feel and sound like it’s failed. I hope this works. Please keep us updated. Thanks!
