  1. I changed out the plastic tubing to ice maker with the steal braided line version. It has been 4-years with no problems. I will say I have a built in water regulator that is set at 55 psi. Glad you found the problem!!!
  2. Interesting, there is a possibility of blockage in the water heater. Does the outside shower have the same flow? Some water heaters have a screen on the inlet side. Hard water will calcify the system. I would try draining the water heater and then flush it. If the flow out of the drain is strong, I would say the obstruction is on the outlet side of the water heater. Wishing the best!
  3. My issue was not intermittent, but it turned out to be the control board. Replaced and works just fine.
  4. Just an FYI, that fan runs off the Chassis batteries. So if it runs for a long time, it can run these batteries down and your Coach will not start, unless your inverter charges the Chassis batteries, mine does not. HVe a great day!!!
  5. It is there to keep the compartment flowing with fresh air in an effort to keep the inverter from over heating. When you trace the wires it leads to a thermostat button switch that turns on the fan that draws sir in. The button typically has a number on it that you can google to find our at what temperature it closes and turns on the fan. Hope this helps! Safe travels!!!
  6. Question, how many mile do you have on your primary and secondary fuel filters? If there is not sufficient fuel to the injectors it feels exactly like the turbo is not working. If there is insufficient fuel to the injectors, the turbo cannot compress air. Wish you the best.
  7. I am not well versed in the Electrical Management System (EMS), but it does distribute loads in order to not trip breakers. There is the possibility that the EMS is faulty 9unless it’s real), meaning it is seeing too much of a load; therefore shedding a load (your front AC) in order to protect the electrical system. This would cause the front AC to not have power. Hopefully, there is someone on the forum that can help you trouble shoot it. Best wishes.
  8. We don’t use the gas stove top anymore for that same reason. We have two induction burners. They creat much less heat and work fast. We use them in the heat of the day with no heat problems that the ACs can’t take care of.
  9. Yes sir that is a front temp sensor or zone 1. Aim a hair dryer on it about 10 inches away and see if the AC starts and remains running.
  10. Agree with the above, low on Freon and shutting down on low evaporator temp (sensor) or front ambient temperature sensor is faulty or air vent blowing on it. Do you have a Dometic 10 button thermostat, if so you can check the inside temperatures in zone 1 and 2. If you are low on Freon you would need to check your running amps to check the load (you will need an amp hook/claw/ring).
  11. My did it two different times. One the fluid was low. I know you checked it, but I would do it again. The oil is finicky when it comes to temperature. The second time was when the Parking Brake was not sending a signal that it has been released. I ended up having to change the air brake switch. I upgraded it to a redesigned switch that I found online. Hope this helps.
  12. The Carefree website has a number maintenance files on their products. Before you go the route of purchasing a spring I suggest taking the end cap off. Turn the shaft (counter clock wise, I used a small pipe wrench) and see if it is creating tension. If so the spring is fine. Like on mine the rotation stop was warn out on the end cap. I built up the stop by drilling it and inserting a bolt in it. Now the rotation stops and holds tension. If not, check to see if the rivets are not sheared off. The are located on the end where you turned the shaft on the outer circumference. If the are fine go onto the spring. Hope this helps. ja
  13. Indeed, I am just looking for easy fix first. How about the Air filter, maybe it has not been changed out in a while??? ✅?
  14. Hello Bill, just out of curiosity, have you changed out the primary and secondary fuel filters? I had exactly what you are going through happen to me. Fortunately, I changed out these filters (I filled them with Diesel first) and thank the Lord it all got back to normal. Obviously the lack of fuel makes the Turbo feel and sound like it’s failed. I hope this works. Please keep us updated. Thanks!
  15. Thank you everyone for your great insight!!! It was all very informative!!!!
  16. Has anyone converted their Cummins Onan Generator from Glycol Antifreeze to OAT? If so what type/Brand of OAT did you use? Thank you.
  17. Matt, Is the condenser fan running when the coach is running? I doubt that this would be the problem though. It is very probable that you have a failing compressor. The differential pressure looks weak. There is that possibility that there is air in the system. What was the gauge reading on the vacuum gauge and how long did you hold it for without the vacuum pump and did it hold? Just my two cents worth 🤗.
  18. Good call on periodically checking transmission level and topping off. The Allison is very expensive! Safe travels and enjoy!
  19. I forgot to mention that a good dehumidifier (if parked in humid area) is very helpful. The air in the Coach is dry and the ACs don’t have to work as hard. Best wishes.
  20. If it’s just the refrigerator, there is a 5 amp fuse in a black plastic box on the backside of the fridge. You will see wires running into and out of it. If it is fine, then it is a fuse in the outside compartment of the driver. Wish you the best.
  21. Yes front windshield needs to be shielded, windows tinted with UV protection. Make sure the slide gaskets are not leaking. Jim, the camera inspection in the duct work is a must. Because of age, moisture or mice these duct system leak. We have two 15K BTU’s and at 95 degrees outside the interior holds at 75 degrees. Wish you the best.
  22. Thank you everyone for your inquiries. The items have been sold. Again thank you!
  23. I upgraded my Air Conditioners and I am selling the 5-button Dometic Comfort Control, asking $35.00 plus shipping. Duo Therm Control Box 3109226.005 asking $55.00 plus shipping. Power Module Board Conversion Kit 3313107.107, asking $60.00 plus shipping. All in good working condition. Since they are electric/electronic there are no returns. Thank you
  24. Hello Jack, my Coach would start when neutral and the parking set, but the jacks would not operate. The leveling panel would say to engage the parking brake, it was engaged, but the pressure switch had failed (this common on Monaco’s). I have attached the fix. There are wires that go from this switch to the leveling panel. I have successfully installed this upgrade and the jacks worked once again. Wish you the best. https://www.monacoers.org/articles.html/technical-papers/a-close-look-at-the-nason-parking-brake-switch-r6/?do=getNewComment&d=1&id=6
  25. I would do what Ivan suggested and see if a mobile mechanic can repair. I am not a fan of stop leaks. Taking a chance of driving it in May cause more damage which means more expense. If no mobile, Try finding a reputable diesel repair shop and ask them for a tow. Hopefully that is cheaper. One thing to consider is the possibility of a warped head which require milling it out. Wish you the best.
