  1. We replaced our shocks with the custom valved shocks from Source Engineering. The ride is change is night and day. Yes it is more expensive, but it is worth it. Wish you the best!
  2. Dale/Deb, this is a common problem. Please read the attach for the fix by Bob Nodine . The pneumatic switch fails often, this fix works. I had the problem and corrected it in this manner. Wish you the best. https://www.monacoers.org/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=139

  4. My problem was the thermostatic switch found to the left in the front generator compartment. The switch is normally closed and allows clutch engagement. When the evaporator gets to cold the thermostatic switch opens and shuts off the compressor or disengages the clutch. Disconnect the thermostatic switch wire and place a blade fuse in its place, now check and see if the compressor engages. If it does you need to change out the Thermostatic switch. Don’t run the compressor for too long with the blade fuse because you can damage the compressor since it does not cycle. Hope this helps.
  5. Joel, two possible things come to mind. 1. The compressor is locked up (I don’t think this the problem, possible) 2. The capacitor has failed (this a common failure and much cheaper than #1). Check the capacitor. Be careful because they a an electrical charge. Hope this helps!
  6. Oil, Gas, Energy Industry is 👎🏼. That being said, has anyone’s travel plans changed? We had a 6,000 mile trip planned, but because of fuel prices, it has been replaced with traveling within the State of Texas. 😡. Have a great day!
  7. Thank you sir, this is very helpful! Have a good night!
  8. Will do, I am not exactly sure where the fuse is located. However, I suspect it is in the fuse compartment located under the driver side outside compartment. The black box with 3-wing nuts. I would do a continuity check across each fuse. I am not at my coach, but if I am not mistaken the legend on the back of the cover identifies the fuse for the levelers.
  9. Bob, if I may ask, what was the name of the shop that repaired the steering box. Did it reduced the steering play? Thank you!
  10. Is there a bussing alarm? The parking brake is associated with the leveling system. It is a safety that keeps the Coach from moving until the Jacks are completely up. If the air brake switch is not sending a signal that it is in applied the leveler system will not work. Hope this helps.
  11. Please read the history on wandering Monaco’s and save some money and time. Basically three main components for better road handling: 1) the Watts system, 2) TRW steering box and 3) Sway bars and Shocks(Road Master). There are many posts on this subject. A little costly, but better to be safe rather than sorry. Wish you the best.
  12. Thank you! This is exactly what we need.
  13. Looks great! I know you said the hardware came with the Coach. Any idea where one can purchase similar hardware? Thank you and enjoy the Rally!
  14. We have installed a curtain rod wall to wall , right behind driver and passenger seats, with blackout curtains. On cold night and days we close them to isolate the nose and make our heating area smaller. We also do the same in the hot weather if our ACs are running constantly. This has saved us a lot of money in heating and cooling. Hope this helps.
  15. Thank you everyone for your expert input. Thankfully there are no roof leaks. It was very obvious it was coming from the window. I will remove them and reinstall with the proper caulking. Yes, I will use the painters tape 👍🏼. Again thank you to all!
  16. We just went through some heavy rain and two of windows leaked. Does anyone know of seal replacement for them or do I need purchase new windows. Where can I buy seals and windows? 2007 Holiday Rambler Ambassador. Thank you for your help!

  18. I would appreciate any suggestions on where to go in Dallas Texas to get Windshield replaced. Thank you.
  19. I am not sure what the kit consists of, but there appears to be some voltage when switch is turned off. If you have a multimeter check to see if you have some amount of voltage on your red and black wire. If your red wire has voltage, then your switch has a leak or there are some wires melted together from the switch to the lights. Hope this helps.
  20. Driver side outside compartment front there is a black fuse box. Look for fuse 5-67 it should be a 5 amp fuse. This was the problem for me. I got tired of it blowing and went with a residential refer. Hope this helps.
  21. If I may ask, what size is your TV and lifting mechanism did you use? Thank you.
  22. They have full extension slides on Amazon. Wish you the best.

  24. My 2007 Ambassador is not designed for the inverter to charge the Chassis batteries, but only the House batteries. Yes, the answer is the ML-ACR.
