Air Intake Hose?

While waiting on my injection pump I'm cleaning up some other things on my to do list. One being the air intake hose that goes to the air filter. It's about a foot long and 7" in dia., everywhere I look for it I find 6" or 8".

 This is what I was going to give a try.

This had been discussed previously on this forum. In fact I made a post to a thread pointing to exactly what I purchased when I replaced the air intake hose on my Windsor.

You are using the wrong search term.

You should use 7 inch ID RFH Hose.

Here is a supplier that sells it in one foot increments. Order exactly what you need.

Thanks guys, you're right Ivan I was using the wrong search term but when I try what it should be nothing comes up local.  Now that I know what it's called I should be able to find it somewhere local tomorrow.

Lol whoops, that was who I meant, don't know why I said Ivan instead.

I replaced ALL that pleated hose with aluminum tubing and  rubber fittings like the Class 8 trucks use. Lots of air friction going on inside that, due to the configuration of it.

This is great info.  I replaced my intake hose a couple years ago on my old Dynasty, but did not know the correct term to use for a search.  I eventually went to the RV junkyard in KY and bought a used one.
