  1. I've heard that as well but don't really understand why and I know I have been guilty of that in the past. After we got it all repaired and took a Fall trip up north I noticed Hyd fluid on our driveway when we got back home and had to have all of the passenger side slide cylinders rebuilt. Luckily nothing was damaged that time other than my wallet again.
  2. Last June right after we returned from Death Valley the synchronizing cylinder for the driver side slide blew a seal. I wasn't paying attention while trying to retract it and the slide tried to come in crooked and ended up getting bound up part way in. couldn't extend it back out or move it at all. It sat in our driveway and took almost 2 months before I finally got help to get it straight and back in. Lazydays pulled all 3 of the hyd cyl's out so I could get them rebuilt and reinstalled. Because nothing was labeled on the pump wiring or solenoids, that slowed the trouble shooting process. I ended up making a chart identifying what each solenoid was for and stapled it to the bottom of the step access cover. Next step I plan on labeling all of the wiring. You'll notice that when the slides are extending the cylinders are retracting. I just thank GOD this didn't happen while we were camping out in Death Valley ! BTW, it cost $110/cyl to have them rebuilt but the Lazydays bill was just under the 5 figure mark! Fortunately they didn't have to remove the slide but did have to repair the damage to it.
  3. RV - Stabilizer Jacks - $40 For sale, two new RV Stabilizer Scissor Jacks. $40 for the pair. Extends from 5-1/2" to 24" I will bring them to the Gathering only if someone is interested in them.
  4. Paul, Now you're making me get in line to upgrade my cameras but I need to get a decent monitor first in order to take advantage of the higher resolution. My biggest gripe about the rear camera is sun glare on the lens. On a cloudy overcast day I have a good image. We may need to think about some sort of sun shade for the rear camera or modifying the camera housing or maybe a polarizing filter in front of the camera lens.
  5. My wife, Denise, is interested in going to see the aquarium, for now, but may change her mind later for some of the others. She doesn't want to drive though.
  6. We were at Parkesdale Farm Market a couple of weeks ago and got a little sticker shock. Their milkshakes have gone from $2.50 in 2021 to $2.75 last year to $4.50 this year.
  7. I have a Roadmaster towbar I will bring if anyone is interested. Just make me an offer. It includes everything except for a base plate. It wouldn't be cost effective to try and ship it. ALSO, If anyone has any old NON-WORKING Faria gages from an early to mid 2000 Exec or Sig (like the ones in the photo) I would be interested in them.
  8. I purchased my stepper motors off of AMAZON: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INZ65B2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  9. Yeah, that's what I come up with. Might have to get into the larger Yachts. I'm wondering about truck salvage yards now.
  10. I did Paul but it still didn't work but that may be due to my soldering. I'm going to check my solder joint and recheck it. I hope I didn't get it to hot and mess the board up. I didn't change the capacitors though. I have some more 'dead' gauges coming that I can practice on. I just got a call Monday about someone that has a NEW one but he wants $200 for it!
  11. Did you understand what the purpose of changing the capacitors was for? I didn't try that because that looked like it might have been a little more difficult .... for me anyway. BTW, I have someone sending me a couple more 'dead' gauges to play with. The needle was on fairly tight but you'll find some stepper motor kits on line that have a plastic tool included just for getting the needle off of the motor. I did get one of those as well. It takes a lot of patience to get that bezel off but it will eventually come off. I lost count of how many times I went around it with a small screwdriver cautiously prying on it.
  12. Thanks Kevin. Yeah, I tried them but no luck. I think they are who I bought my speedometer replacement from. I might be mistaken but I think those Faria gauges may have only been installed in the Exec & Sig models made out on Oregon back in the mid 2000's. That system was also used in boats but I don't know which models or years. If anyone knows where else they were used that might be helpful or ..... is there anything such as a boat salvage yard ? 🙂
  13. Hello Paul Yeah, mine were sort of acting like that also but eventually died. If I looked real close I could see the needle shaking like it was stuck. I found this interesting video on YouTube about to repair them by replacing the little stepper motor in them that you might find interesting as well.
  14. I'm needing a working rear tank Faria air gauge GE0056A If anyone has a front tank Faria air gauge I would be interested in one of those as well. The front gauge would be a GE0055A Yes, I have tried the salvage yards, ebay and amazon.
  15. Greatly appreciated. You know, I may have seen him make a video about installing it. How do you like it and how reliable has it been? I'll see if I can send you a PM with my info.
  16. I'm interested if it still works. Would you be able to box it up and ship it? That would be awesome! Just let me know how much it will cost. Are you going to be at The Gathering at Lazydays in February by any chance? By the way, what did you replace yours with? I've searched but can't seem to find anyone. Do you recall who they are?
  17. The screen for my Aladdin display has died and am needing a working replacement. I have a 'spare' but it's locked and I don't have the 4 digit code to unlock it plus the screen needs to be calibrated and the numbers don't match up with the keypad display so I can't even enter all of the numbers even if I had them. I have contacted KENWOOD but they are of no help, just said they don't support it anymore and have no replacement models I could even upgrade to. Has anyone tried to replace just the monitor screen? Don't know if the monitor on the 'locked' receiver could be swapped over to the one with the dead monitor.
  18. Unfortunately even if you find the paint codes for your coach it's not going to match due to fading. Maybe you could take something small off to have a paint shop match it. Either that or you're going to have to take your coach by to have them custom match it.
  19. I was just over at JOSAM's a week ago and he told me I had the same exact problem. He said a new one would be around $1,500 and gave me the same exact time frame to get mine replaced. He wanted me to schedule an appointment but I told him to check as to when he could get one and let me know and then I'd have him schedule me in. With the unknown regarding parts availability it could be a problem even getting one anytime soon.
  20. I finally found it Ray. It was buried behind a large bundle of wiring and hoses up in the generator bay on the passenger side of the firewall. Now to find out a replacement part number for it. The Monaco parts list shows a 054-00001 but the number on the dryer is 1748698, neither of which I can pull up anything on nor a cross reference part number.
