  1. Now are we talking AC or DC ??? I thought DC issues 🤔
  2. I bypassed both also Ivan. His would only have one solenoid as I can recall?
  3. My salesman switch cut both sides down. He states that just one side is off.
  4. My fuse box for interior DC is in the bedroom Very well marked. Check those fuses Your may be in your bathroom? I don't know 😕🤷
  5. In the past week or two there have been threads that addressed your issues. Most recommended calling Source engineering
  6. The climb on the old road North of the river valley is 8 % South of Sparta
  7. My signature likes 👍1600 to 2000 rpm. Only one hill do I get down to first gear and run 2200 rpm Rt. 111 North of Soddy Daisy. South of Static.
  8. Your correct And a Peddle to the metal not only throws fuel out the exhaust 🤫 It ( can ) under certain conditions destroy the proper lubing of the cylinder s and rings. We are not driving gas powered car's.
  9. Overall your doing well I would think. Large boats?? I have been anchored out twice in the past 20 years when a tornado went through. 80 plus mph winds right down the lake. 1,000 structures destroyed up the road in Berea Kentucky. School roof taken off in Monticello. Between the two stormes. $60,000 of damages, so yes 😉🤔
  10. Did you try efficiency mode 🤔 On gently rolling hills I like..
  11. Good question 🤔 Personally I climb mountains watching RPMs Boost Engine temperature Transmission Temperature We have never blown an engine on and RV or semi truck fleet. In 50 plus year's. We train the drivers to keep the RPMs Higher the steeper the grade. My 500 hp Cummins governor is set at 22 hundred rpm. And only one mountain in Tennessee on 111 requires that in first gear with a trailer. In Colorado 2,000 maybe 2,100 for a little bit. But never shifted below 2nd climbing Monarch or Loveland pass. No trailer. Just a 4 door jeep in tow.
  12. Always those that have only driven cars and never even serviced a vehicle 🙄 Deciding to buy an rv. Even a pull type or fith wheel. There is a very big driving, learning curve. How many come on these forums and are shocked that they need to change the fuel filters often 🤔 or at all. They are shocked at a $1,250 full service bill or more. So allot of this goes back to the time spent with a committed qualified sales team. Many on here are CDL holder's Or farmed or worked construction. Yes, some form of training needs to be recommended 👌 Not necessarily legislated.
  13. Be easier, and cheaper to fly After reading this Thread
  14. Sorry I have never needed to change any out. I would call josams, Orlando Florida and see what they say. They Change out many airbags on Monaco coaches
  15. Wayne I read where Firestone isn't making air bags now. True or not? Don't know 😕
  16. Lots of great Agricultural 👍 sites Amish restaurant s Fruit stands Antiques
  17. Good advice above It's easy to spend 3 or 4 days in Northern Indiana rv country
  18. I certainly do shift down manually on steep hills. Like the one north of Chattanooga on 111 North of sody daisy Pulling my trailer with a jeep and harley behind. The 500 hp ISM says cool and collected on the 15 minute climb North bound. Running at 22 hundred rpm. Even when shifted down to first at 3/4th throttle You don't go any faster at full throttle, I assure you. We pull that mountain range both ways 2 times a year. South of Cookeville Tennessee. I have family south of Denver. Breakfast at Salida, then We ski monarch a few days then go on over to Crested Bute. So we have done the pulls.
  19. Your correct. These are not car's Many diesel techs never recommended full throttle operation. I have never used a full throttle position. With any diesel Tractor trailer rig or our rv.
  20. Yes Unlimited flight miles are good to have. Loved Pushing with a jeep also. Not uncommon to have the coach in the shop for 2 weeks to 2 months. So housing Travel back home. Camp ground cancelations All can Add up.
  21. Big blocks, yes Not uncommon when on the road. You become a victim For rvs with pickup truck diesels Yes Much, much less usually.
  22. Regardless The ability to tap lots of $$$$$s Total engine rebuild, $40 to $50 thousands New radiator installed??? $5,000 maybe Anyplace you travel there are semis and tractors running. NAPA stores are in very remote places at times. These trucks and tractors all need tire services ,towing and part's services. Personally, I carry LOTS of tools Belts, filters, re built alternator, aquahot, Rebuilt burner and nozels and filter. Solenoids plus just stuff Light bulbs, fuses etc.
