  1. Hi, This is John's daughter, you are right my Dad passed away on Monday morning. It was sudden, but he is in a better place!
  2. Good to know Thanks for sharing. Many Monacoers go to JoSams Orlando There are frequent threads listing part numbers and pricing for installation Each As I read it Richard
  3. Yes Inventory # for salvaged part's It looks like a new or newly conditioned Head.
  4. The head, or the valve cover may ? 🤔 Have been replaced
  5. Many owners will tell you that a bad or contaminated low coolant indicator will send a code. Even though the coolant is and was adequate. Now that's one case where you could drive for years without issues. I do hate to have a dash light on. But with the Barometric pressure sensor bad 👎 , and everything up to snuff. And running good. It took me 18 months to get into the correct shop with the right tech. He did tell me, realy that I may notice a little more power at high altitudes climbing hills. But many choose not to spend the $$$s To install the new sensor.
  6. You stated an always, absolute failure down the road . That's not true.
  7. Jump the relay and see if you have DC power. Yes You can move the Hot over 😏
  8. So could they erase the codes and turn the light off 🤔 ? Most Cummins technicians can.
  9. So what did they do for $1,000 if there were no codes 🤔 ???
  10. That wiring wire harness was a recall from Cummins years ago. It attached in line to the Barometric pressure sensor . It's a long time family Cummins service center that takes walk ins Off I-68 behind Pilot on the North side They said before they ran the codes that the light could indicate any one or more of 100 issues. Fortunately This was a simple fix.
  11. Sorry No A certified Cummins service center just east of Morgantown West Virginia Down a hill below a pilot station. On the old state route Cost to Checked for codes, $60. Erased the 1. Code and replaced the harness and Barometric pressure sensore. Total bill listed above.
  12. Code for my ISM 500 showed a bad For mine Barometric pressure sensor. And an updated wiring harness. $260 diagnosis and installation Took 20 minutes. More power certanly
  13. There is a 12 volt wire feed to your control board.
  14. Yes It's certainly not rocket science 😉🤗
  15. Same thing happened to me 2 years ago. But mine broke off at the attachment point. When I was at visone 6 months latter they got me a matching pair off a 2001 Signature sitting out front. Now I have 1 spare.
  16. He is a good friend of ours living outside of Hamler, malenta Ohio. We both boat some on the Maumee River. He is a genius. Building cars, boats, Airplanes, and a submarine And he still races motocross motorcycles He ran flat track at one time. Great guy He bought the cap for the Monaco at Visone in Kentucky. What's different is. He has and is willing to spend BIG, BIG BUCKS , ON Quality Investments.
  17. I agree Ray In the 60s Dad had a talented welder, fabricator work for him for 25 years. His son, about my age is of the same capabilities and actions They buy junk for little to nothing and spend 100s or thousands of man hours rebuilding cars, trucks, boats and motorhome s. They admit that if they counted the value of labor, shop time and expenses. Plus new or junk yard parts. 🤔 They come out about even or over cost of buying the same model and year outright and using the vehicle, boat or rv for that 1 to 5 years of ownership. They say only 50% of bus conversations are completed by the original owner with intentions to have a drivable, live in traveling conversion. The people that take the bus to a conversion company and say. You have a year and an open check book. Those people get a usable , selable rv . To be proud of. In a year or two. Spending BIG BUCKS
  18. Good point Reading the rv forum's the past 20 some year's Many rv ers don't understand how the thermostat works. Especially on multiple power appliances Like aqua hots and hot water heaters. Many only turn the appliances on when they want heat or hot water. Thinking the unit is burning or heating ( constantly ) 24/7 and that they save propane, diesel or DC battery power.
  19. Do you hear it trying ? To ignite? So you turned it off last night ? Do you turn it off every night? Doesn't your thermostat work ?
  20. Again You created this thread You ask Do you, furum members think I was treated Fairley??? You ask and you got several opinions. Are you looking for sympathy 🤔 You chose the dealer to get your inspection You knowingly had the issue with blocked vision. You nor any of us on the forum write nor make policy for the dealer that You Chose. If $$160. And some inconvenience Bothers you this much ??? So I ask you Why didn't you get the window fixed before ? Did you have this motorhome in Florida last year? Or before Where you could get these windows fixed at Hudson? Your choise of repair you say. We can all Agree with your position But you still are responsible for a solution.. Concentrate your efforts and energy on getting your windows fixed 👌 and passing inspection so you can get to Florida and Enjoy.
