Cooling fan 2006 Diplomat
klcdenver replied to trstaska's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
I can get measurements for you tomorrow from my 2007 Diplomat. If you call Source Engineering and talk to (Jim) if I remember the name correctly he knows exactly what you need. I just told him which motorhome I had and the fan he sent fit correctly. The hardest part is adjusting the shroud depth to fit in the middle of the new fan blades. I had to get a fan spacer and Jim knows that part number also. Just PM me if still want the measurements. -
Drift to the Right - 07 Sig
klcdenver replied to rpasetto's topic in Chassis, Handling, Tires & Brakes
Before you do anything check on the front axle to see if you have a steering stabilizer such as a safe-t-plus or roadmaster. If so it probably needs adjusted. It also does not take much of a crosswind to make that happen. -
Mixing Hydraulic fluids
klcdenver replied to Georgia Mike's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
You have misread the quantity it is only 3.5 quarts. I have been thru this when I changed my Sheppard steering box to a TRW. If it is not broke don't fix it just refill with 15w-40 and keep going, it appears it has been working for 18 years now. -

the 15w-40 is actually motor oil not ATF. -

ENG COMM FAILURE - 2007 HR Imperial - HELP Fixing

Try disconnecting your batteries for a few minutes and see if it will reset. The fuses you are looking for should be in the battery bay if like a diplomat. -
HOW TO AVOID DAMAGE IN MH FROM FREEZING TEMPERATURES - HELP PLEASE
klcdenver replied to Jetjockey's topic in Water Systems
I have stayed in my diplomat with single digit temps. Make sure your propane is full because heat pumps are not going to work. Get a small electric heater about 450 watts and put in service bay. I use an extension chord from a source other than the motor home if possible. If not plug it into the receptacle where you plug in your block heater. If you will get 2-3 electric heaters for inside will help save on propane. I use the milk house heaters because they are all metal and the have overheat and tip over switches. If you put your slides in that also helps. Get you a roll of double bubble insulation and cut it to fit every window and the windshield. After placing them pull your shades down to hold in place. It is unreal how much the insulating the windshield makes. Put pillows or some foam in your over head vents also. Get some Velcro and use the insulation to cover your sky light in the bath. I have also used that same insulation and lined the cabinets that are in the slides. -
1996 Monaco Dynasty Model ?????

Look on the inside door of the bath vanity cabinet and bedroom cabinet doors. You should find a info sheet with all the info on one of them. You can also send a email to Service.Requests@revrvgroup.com with serial number and vin number asking for build document. Happy New Year -
Upholstering suggestions for sofa air bed
klcdenver replied to RC2018's topic in Interior & Exterior Care & Renovations
I had mine done at a local upholstery shop. I took the components off my self and carried them into shop. Just unbolt from floor and pull it out. It comes apart pretty easy. I had good leather material and about 800 in it. -
2008 Diplomat Chasse batteries not charging.
klcdenver replied to David W's topic in Electrical Systems
The big boy should be on the back wall in the same bay as your batteries. You can remove it and disassembly it and clean it up. This will usually get them back working. -
You will need to adjust rear passenger side ride height valve to change drivers side. You will adjust the passenger rear to change the drivers side front. There is only one ride height valve in the front. It is connected to the center of the front axle.

I recently got a T-Mobile home wireless box. It actually is as good or better than Spectrum internet that I got rid of. Took a trip to the ranch 80 miles from the house and brought it along. It is working great in the motorhome. I was thinking it might not work outside of my area code but no problem. Just plugged it in and it worked just like at home. I can stream Netflix and Paramount very good with it. Price is also right. If you have a T-Mobile cell the internet is 30 per month or 40 if no cell.

The bulbs are in a 1/4 to 1/2 turn socket. You have to access them on the backside of the tail light assembly. Try opening the door beside the light assembly and reach thru that opening. Not easy task.

Notice from Cummins
klcdenver replied to DennisZ's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
You have to call them because they will give you a new user name that you have to use. They are screwing everything up making many changes to part numbers and all. -
Go to www.kingconnect.com they should have one for you plus they are having a Black Friday sale. Also look at the winegard products. Wingard will have a digital head that should work on your current crank up platform and you will be surprised how good they work.

This the Nason Parking Brake Valve that you probably have. I have bought from Radwell company before with no problems. Part number: nason sm-1c-66r/wp28 https://www.radwell.com/en-US/Buy/NASON/NASON/SM-1C-66R-DIV-WP28?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjMKqBhCgARIsAPDgWlwmFtaA6GHVYfHjbZIYNJSyADFfGFF3av29AzrvG6OPLSRIfS1a7fMaAqs5EALw_wcB -
If you need new cooler you might be interested in a whole new cooling package. Amazon has a good deal on the whole ball of wax for 2,300. I believe this will fit your unit. I bought this set this summer and will install after first of year. It came crated very well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086R6M99K/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A1JV6XN12ZQO1J&psc=1

Part # for air intake hose
klcdenver replied to bestins's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
I recently replaced mine on my 2007. Just go to a hose supply and get the correct diameter. Measure length good because it makes a few s bends. Don't remember the length I got but it is longer than it appears. -
Yes it can. Take a good look at it and look for the leak if you have one. There are some temp band aid fixes. Some high heat exhaust heat tape wrap and some products like JB Weld. It could be just an exhaust gasket also that could be replaced in El Paso. Be sure and check around turbo also. Did you check idler arm when it was hot? Metal expands when hot. If cold it might not drag as bad. Be sure and check alternator and A/C clutch to spin freely. Another thing that can make those noises is a u-joint on the drive shaft. Can you rev motor in park and duplicate the noise?

Your fan is direct drive, it does not have a clutch. Check for a cracKed exhaust manifold or exhaust leak than can make strange noises. If you need help in Carlsbad get in touch with Phil Carrol, he lives there. If you cannot reach him let me know I have his number. He had a car dealership there for many years. Kenneth
